The Amazing Race April 2 Episode 5 To Feature A Surprise Double U-Turn Obstacle
CBS is confirmed to air another brand new episode of The Amazing Race tonight, April 2, 2025, and it will feature a couple of the teams getting hit with a dreaded double u-turn obstacle and more. This episode is the 5th one for this current season 37.
According to CBS’ official episode 5 press release information, this episode is officially labeled/titled, “It’s Not Personal, It’s Business.”
The preview information from CBS’ press release is telling us that the remaining teams will get a big shocker thrown at them by host Phil Keoghan at some point because he will announce that the dreaded double U-Turn obstacle is in play.
The remaining teams will cast their votes for which teams should get hit with the double U-Turn, and the two teams that get the most votes will have to do the Double U-Turn, which requires them to complete both detour challenges before they can complete this leg of the race.
CBS’ official description for this new episode 5 of The Amazing Race season 37 reads like this, “Host Phil Keoghan shocks the teams when he announces a surprise double U-Turn where teams must cast their vote live, and the two teams with the most votes are required to complete both detours on THE AMAZING RACE.”
Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 5 of The Amazing Race’s current season 37 is scheduled to make its arrival to your TV screens tonight, April 2, 2025 in the 8:30 pm central standard time slot.
It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs). This episode will be a 90-minute event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
