New Saturday Night LIVE April 5 Episode To Feature Jack Black, Elton John & More
NBC is confirmed to air another new episode of their hit comedy/variety show Saturday Night LIVE tonight, April 5, 2025, and it will feature Jack Black, Elton John and more. This episode is the 16th installment for this current season 50.
NBC’s official episode 16 press release information is telling us that 55 year old American actor, comedian, and musician Jack Black will show up to the set to handle the hosting duties tonight. This will be his 4th time to host the show.
NBC also noted that Jack is starring in a new movie titled, “A Minecraft Movie,” which hit theaters yesterday, April 4, 2025.
For the musical portion of tonight’s new episode, 78 year old British singer, composer, and pianist Elton John along with 43 year old American singer, songwriter, producer, and activist Brandi Carlile.
NBC is telling us that these two will appear together as musical guests for the very first time. They have a new, collaborative studio album titled, “Who Believes In Angels?” So, they’ll probably perform some songs from it.
NBC’s official description for tonight’s new episode 16 of Saturday Night LIVE season 50 reads like this, “Jack Black will host “SNL” for the fourth time on April 5. Black stars in the upcoming film “A Minecraft Movie,” in theaters April 4.
Elton John and Brandi Carlile will appear together as musical guest for the first time. Their collaborative studio album, “Who Believes In Angels?” including the Oscar-nominated song “Never Too Late,” will be released April 4.”
Again, NBC confirmed that another new episode of Saturday Night LIVE’s current season 50 is scheduled to hit the air tonight, April 5, 2025 in the 10:29 pm central standard time slot.
