American Idol April 6 & 7 Episodes To Feature Hollywood Week Showstopper & Battles
ABC is confirmed to deliver up another new set of episodes for its hit singing show American Idol tonight, April 6, 2025, and tomorrow night, April 7th, and they will feature the Hollywood Week Showstopper portion of this season along with head-to-head battles and more. These episodes are the 7th and 8th ones for this current season 23.
According to ABC’s official episode 7 press release information, this episode is officially titled, “Hollywood Week: Showstopper.”
The preview information is telling us that the contestants that made it through the audition rounds will show up to deliver up another performance for the celebrity judges: Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan. 40 year old American singer, songwriter, and rapper Jelly Roll will be brought on to be a mentor for the contestants.
ABC’s official description for this new episode 7 of American Idol season 23 reads like this,”American Idol” competitors bring their A-game in the “Showstopper” episode, delivering powerful performances that could make or break their journey to fame. Jelly Roll joins as the first artist in residence to guide them along the way.”
Tomorrow night’s new episode 8 is officially titled,”Head to Head.” The preview intel is telling us that the contestants will compete in some head-to-head battle competitions, and they will be very intense according to ABC. They’re also saying that the mentor Jelly Roll will appear in this episode as well, and he will also perform at some point.
ABC’s official description for tomorrow night’s new episode 8 of American Idol season 23 reads like this, “The competition heats up as competitors face off in intense head-to-head battles, and this season’s new artist in residence, Jelly Roll, makes his highly anticipated debut.”
Again, ABC confirmed that another new episode of American Idol’s current season 23 is scheduled to hit the air tonight and tomorrow night April 6 & 7, 2025 in the 7 pm central standard time slot. They will both be 2-hour events. So, expect them to wrap up at 9 pm central standard time.
