New Watson April 6 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
According to CBS, they’ve confirmed that they are not going to air the next, new episode 9 of Watson’s current, premiere season 1 tonight, April 6, 2025. It’s unclear why they’ve made this decision, but we do have an official airdate for the new episode 9.
According to CBS’ official episode 9 press release intel, CBS is scheduled to finally air the new episode 9 next Sunday night, April 13, 2025 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to look for the new episode 9 to turn up next week.
TV Guide did also let us know what CBS is airing in place of a new Watson episode tonight. They’re going to air the tail-end of a new musical special in the 8 pm central time slot.
CBS’ official description for this new musical special reads like this, “An Evening With Elton John And Brandi Carlile. Filmed on March 26 at London’s iconic Palladium Theatre and accompanied by a live band, Elton John and Brandi Carlile perform songs from their new album, Who Believes in Angels?
The musicians also play a selection of their individual greatest hits, including timeless classics from Elton’s catalogue and a very special performance of an unreleased track by Carlile.”
In the 8:30 pm central time slot, CBS is going to air a repeat episode of one of their other shows titled, “Ghosts.” It will be episode 1 of its season 4 titled, “Patience.”
CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “While Sam and the ghosts race to find him, Isaac comes face to face with Puritan ghost Patience for the first time since she was lost in the dirt.”
If any of that alternate programming sounds appealing to any of you guys, you might still want to hang with CBS tonight to check all of that out. If you only want to see a new episode of Watson, you will certainly want to make some other plans for tonight and check back next Sunday night.
