New NCIS Origins April 7 Episode 16 Delayed, Preempted. Not Airing Tonight
CBS has officially confirmed that they are not airing the next, new episode 16 of NCIS: Origins’ current, premiere season 1 tonight, April 7, 2025 due to some other TV obligations that they are going to fulfill.
According to CBS’ official episode 16 press release information, CBS plans to finally air the new episode 16 next Monday night, April 14, 2025 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be on the lookout for the new episode 16 to arrive next Monday night.
TV Guide did tell us why CBS isn’t airing a new episode of NCIS: Origins tonight. It’s because CBS is going to provide LIVE coverage for the 2025 NCAA Men’s College Basketball championship game.
CBS’ official description for their LIVE coverage of the NCAA college basketball championship game reads like this, “NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament: Florida vs. Houston. Florida vs. Houston in the National Championship game. From the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
Kelvin Sampson’s gritty Cougars play their first title game since runner-up finishes by the “Phi Slama Jama” squad in 1983 and ’84, facing a tenacious Florida team led by guard Walter Clayton Jr., the first player since Larry Bird in 1979 to score 30-plus points in the Elite Eight and Final Four wins. The Gators were the last team with back-to-back titles (2006-07) prior to UConn the last two years.”
If any of you guys find CBS’ LIVE coverage of this college championship basketball game to be enticing at all, you might still want to keep CBS on your primetime watchlist tonight to check it out. If that’s not the case, and you only want to see a new NCIS: Origins episode, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans for tonight and check back next week.
Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 16 of NCIS: Origins’ current, premiere season 1 is scheduled to finally show up on your TV screens next Monday night, April 14, 2025 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot.
