According to Paramount Plus, they are officially scheduled to release the next, new episode 9 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ current season 4 onto their streaming platform next Thursday, September 17, 2026, and it will feature a return trip over to the Elysian Kingdom and more.
According to Paramount Plus’ official episode 9 press release information, the writers decided to go with the name, “Once La’An a Time” as an official title for this one.
This episode will feature new scenes of the Elysian Kingdom, a real fantasy planet and more. The spoiler intel from Paramount Plus’ very short episode synopsis telling us that we will see a return trip take place at some point to the Elysian Kingdom.
However, this time, there will be a landing on a REAL fantasy planet. That brief description sounds somewhat interesting, but we’ll definitely have to wait until the episode arrives to get a clearer picture of what this is about. Paramount Plus was mighty vague with this description. Additionally, we’re being told that this episode was written by Onitra Johnson.
