New 60 Minutes September 20 Episode To Feature AI Data Centers Controversy, Lindsay Clancy Murder Trial & More
According to CBS, they are officially set to air another brand new episode of their hit news show, “60 Minutes” tonight, September 20, 2026, and it will feature segments about the rise of AI (Artificial Intelligence) data centers, the recent Lindsay Clancy murder trail and more.
According to CBS’ official press release information for this episode, it will feature a total of three, new segments. The first, new segment is titled, “PATRICK CLANCY.” In this one, the 60 Minutes team will interview Patrick Clancy who is the former husband of Lindsay Clancy, which is the woman who was recently put on trial for killing her three children.
In this interview, Patrick will talk about the grief he has felt, the memories of his deceased kids along with the social media reactions. Patrick’s new wife will also be on hand for the interview. Correspondent Ross Douthat handled the reporting duties. Michael Karzis produced this segment.
The second, new segment is titled, “AI DATA CENTERS.” It will feature a look at how AI data centers have become a major focus point for the midterm elections along with all the opposition that has risen against them by both Democrats and Republicans. 60 MINUTES correspondent Norah O’Donnell handled the reporting duties. This segment was produced by Roxanne Feitel.
The 3rd and last, new segment for this new episode is titled, “SHERGAR, WHERE ARE YOU?” This one will take a look at the story about how a champion racehorse named Shergar was kidnapped way, way back in the 1980s.
They will take a deep look into the theories about why the horse was kidnapped and so on and so forth. They will also talk with people who were close to this case. Correspondent Jon Wertheim handled the reporting duties for this one. Nathalie Sommer and Kaylee Tully produced it.
Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that they are officially scheduled to air this new episode of 60 Minutes tonight, September 20, 2026 in the 6 pm central standard time slot.
