The Food Network is officially confirmed to air another brand new episode of their hit food competition series,”Halloween Wars” tonight, October 4, 2026, and it will feature the contestants having to make some moving showpieces that are absolutely horrific and more! This episode is the 4th one for this current season 16.
According to the Food Network’s official episode 4 press release information, the producers decided to label/title this episode, “Back from the Dead: Storybook Nightmares.”
The preview info from the Food Network’s episode description is telling us that this installment will strive to make some twisted bedtime stories come to life as the remaining teams will get hit with a new challenge that requires them to make absolutely terrifying, moving showpieces that are inspired by classic tales. It’s noted that there will only be five teams remaining to start off this episode.
In this new moving showpieces challenge, we’re being told that one of the builds will get a little too ambitious and fall short, causing the whole competition to take some sort of a turn. They didn’t get very specific with what this turn is. So, We will have to wait until this thing airs tonight to get the full details of this turn/twist.
Whatever the case, another team will sadly get eliminated to cap off this episode. Once again, Jonathan Bennett will serve as the host. The judges for this event are: Shinmin Li and Andrew Fuller.
Again, the Food Network’s press release confirmed that another new episode of Halloween Wars’ current season 16 is scheduled to hit the air tonight, October 4, 2026 in the 8 pm central standard time slot.
