‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Rick Forrester Star Jacob Young Is Very Upset These Days
Happy Sunday, “Bold And The Beautiful” fans. We’ve got some petty interesting news for you guys today. It’s in regards to actor Jacob Young who has been portraying the Rick Forrester character off and on for the past 20 plus years. As most of you know by now, he and Maya have officially been declared broken up and about to divorce.
It turns out that it was quite a shock to Jacob Young, and it has left him very disappointed! How do we know he’s disappointed? Well, he recently hit up his official Twitter account to say something about this recent development. The post contained past images of him with Kara Mosley aka Maya Forrester.
Those pics were accompanied with the following caption: “.RT I for one am incredibly sad and disappointed. Rick and Maya have split. (Love that would never die) I loved working with @karlamosley it has been the highlight of my 21 year career in daytime. Rick and Maya’s romance earned both critical and fan acclaim, having told the socially relevant story of a legacy Forrester character falling in love with a transgender woman. Rick and Maya got married in 2015 ,and they had a daughter which they named Lizzy (short for Elizabeth). Since Maya is transgendered, they had Lizzy via a surrogacy through Maya’s sister Nicole.
Currently, the show has Rick totally out of the picture at least physically. There have been a couple of scenes where Maya is seen saying that she’s talked to Rick over the phone and what not. Soapcentral.com pointed out that Jacob Young did tell them in an interview that there is some possible new scenes for him on the “Bold And The Beautiful.” We definitely don’t doubt that. Rick is still Brooke’s son, and there’s definitely no end in sight for her character.
I think they would have to strangle Katherine Kelly Lang to get rid of her. She knows how valuable that job is. I actually admire that because I’ve seen so many actresses leave roles that made them famous, thinking they can find something better. Most of those situations don’t pan out well. So, kudos to Katherine Kelly Lang for thoroughly appreciating her Brooke Logan role.
In other Bold And The Beautiful news, we previously reported that the show has a new beauty arriving on the scene come Monday, January 14, 2019. This new beauty will be named Flo and is portrayed by actress Katrina Bowden. The intel that we currently have on this new Flo character is that she’s a colleague of Wayne Brady’s new character Dr. Reese Buckingham. The vibe we’re getting from this news is that it could turn into a pretty interesting storyline. Flo is going to be a long term contract role. So, she’s here to stay for a while.
We also previously reported that actor Ingo Rademacher has already decided to abandon his Thorne Forrester Role after portraying him just a little over a year. Currently, it is unclear what the producers will do about Thorne. We know he’s currently married to Katie. So, maybe they’ll just bring in a new actor to play Thorne. Who knows? We’ll just have to wait and see. Ingo is currently scheduled to film his final Bold And The Beautiful episodes in January 2019. That means we will still see him for at least a month. Maybe a month and a half longer from this point.
Adain Bradley who plays character Xander Avant is also leaving the show for a while to go shoot a new movie. He has already filmed his final episodes. We assume he’ll be back after he’s done filming his new movie. We currently don’t know how long that will take. Judging from a lot of you guy’s reactions, you probably don’t even care.
Also, don’t forget CBS is a just airing reruns for “The Bold And The Beautiful” tomorrow, December 31, 2019 and Tuesday, January 1, 2019. New episodes will resume on Wednesday afternoon, January 2, 2019.
