New ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Spoilers For Season 16, October 17, 2019 Episode 4 Revealed
Hey, “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We are back to deliver another round of insightful spoiler scoops for the next, new episode 4 since episode 3 just wrapped up tonight.
Thanks to the good ole folks over at ABC, we do have a few plotline spoiler teasers to tell you about via their official press release. So, with no further ado, we’re going to get right into these, starting with the title for episode 4.
The producers have officially named episode 4, “It’s Raining Men.” It sounds like episode 4 will feature some very dramatic, intense and interesting scenes as Meredith causes a lot of negative press for the hospital!
Ben and Vic deliver a young woman to the hospital. Jackson stands up to Tom! Shocking news is thrown Bailey’s way! Owen ends up at Pac-Gen North and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Meredith, negative press situation. It turns out that Meredith’s recent activities will certainly stir up some negative press for Grey Sloan hospital. In light of this, Meredith will try to make things right. However, whatever she ends up doing will jeopardize her community service hours.
ABC’s official description tells us, “After Meredith inadvertently stirs up negative press for Grey Sloan, she tries to make things right with her former colleagues, jeopardizing her community service hours.” An alternate description reads like this, “MEREDITH CAUSES A CONTROVERSY.”
Will Meredith’s efforts to do the right thing pay off for her? That’s a big question for this particular storyline. We’re not sure , but we do know that Meredith will have to end up in court for skipping out on her community service. That’s going to happen in episode 5.
The second spoiler scoop reveals that Ben and Vic from Grey’s Anatomy’s spin off show “Station 19” will make a guest appearance in this episode.
During it, they will bring in a young woman to the hospital. ABC’s description tells us, “Station 19’s Ben and Vic bring a young woman into the hospital.” An alternate description reads like this, “STATION 19 FIREFIGHTERS BEN AND VIC PAY A VISIT TO GREY SLOAN.”
Who is this woman that Ben and Vic will bring to the hospital? That’s a big question for this situation. We’ll certainly have to wait and see. It sounds like this storyline could be semi-interesting.
The 3rd spoiler teaser reveals that Jackson will have had enough of Tom Koracick in this episode. It turns out that Jackson thinks Tom is just taking things too friggin far with a certain patient’s family. In light of this, Jackson will totally take a stand against Tom!
ABC’s description tells us, “Jackson stands up to Koracick when he goes too far with a patient’s family.” An alternate description reads like this, “KORACICK CROSSES A LINE.”
How will Tom go too far exactly? That’s the very important question for this particular plotline. Only time will tell. We couldn’t find any other details for this very intense-sounding scene. It does sound like this storyline will offer up a ton of drama though.
A 4th spoiler scoop reveals that Bailey will get quite startled in this episode. At some point, Bailey is going to get some very shocking news thrown in her direction! ABC’s description tells us, “Bailey receives unexpected news.”
What will this surprising news turn out to be? That’s an obvious,important question for this particular storyline. Whatever it turns out to be it sounds like this storyline could be quite interesting indeed.
Lastly, there’s a 5th spoiler teaser. It reveals that Owen will expand his horizons in this installment. We are going to see him end up at Pac-Gen North, and Alex will see this development as being a possible recruiting opportunity.
ABC’s description tells us, “Owen finds himself at Pac-Gen North, which Alex sees as a recruiting opportunity.”
Will Alex be right about this whole thing? We’ll definitely have to wait and see. It sounds like this plotline could offer up an interesting twist to Owen’s ongoing, season 16 journey.
ABC also released a couple of preview photos for episode 4. Andrew is spotted in a couple of the photos with Levi. It looks like a pretty serious scene.
Jackson is seen confronting Tom in one of the pics. Jo is seen in a few of the pictures. She looks pretty serious in them. Meredith is seen showing up at the hospital and having a conversation with Andrew.

Episode 4 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Jason George as character Ben Warren, Barrett Doss as character Vic Hughes, Alex Blue Davis as character Casey Parker and Taryn Helm as character Jaicy Elliot.
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 4 are: Ellen Pompeo as character Meredith Grey, Justin Chambers as character Alex Karev, Chandra Wilson as character Miranda Bailey, James Pickens Jr. as character Richard Webber, Kevin McKidd as character Owen Hunt, Jesse Williams as character Jackson Avery, Caterina Scorsone as character Amelia Shepherd, Camilla Luddington as character Jo Wilson, Kelly McCreary as character Maggie Pierce, Kim Raver as character Teddy Altman, Giacomo Gianniotti as character Andrew DeLuca, Greg Germann as character Tom Koracick, Chris Carmack as character Atticus “Link” Lincoln and Jake Borelli as as character Levi Schmitt.
Episode 4 was written by Mark Driscoll, and it was directed by Michael Watkins. ABC’s press release confirmed that episode 4 is indeed scheduled to air next Thursday night, October 17, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on ABC.com, the ABC app and Hulu.
