Blue Bloods Season 11, May 14, 2021 Episodes 15 & 16 Are The Finale. Season 12 Is Happening
Hey, “Blue Bloods” fans. We are back on here, tonight, to let all of you know that tonight’s episodes 15 and 16 were the season finale episodes just in case you didn’t know. So, we hope you enjoyed and savored the hell out of them because that is it for this season. You won’t be getting anymore new episodes for quite some time. Apparently, season 11 had to be much shorter due to the terrible pandemic screwing up the production schedule last year.
The good news is that you will be getting some more new episodes at some point in the future because we can officially tell you that CBS did indeed renew Blue Bloods to come back and give you guys a brand new season 12! That’s right, guys. You can expect to get another new season of Blue Bloods episodes blasted at you presumably this Fall 2021!
We’re not sure if things are cleared up enough for the Blue Bloods cast to get back to filming a full, 22 or 24-episode season again. We’ll have to wait a little while longer for CBS to make that announcement.
The new season 12 renewal was made during the middle of April 2021 according to the folks over at TV Line. So, CBS did give it sort of an early renewal.
During that announcement, they also renewed other shows Magnum P.I. for a new season 4, S.W.A.T. for a new season 5, Bull for a new season 6, NCIS for a new season 19, The Equalizer for a new season 2, FBI for a new season 4, FBI: Most Wanted for a new season 3, Bob Hearts Abishola for a new season 3, The Neighborhood for a new season 4 and Young Sheldon for new seasons 5 6 and 7.
If any of you guys like any of those shows, this is obviously even more good news to celebrate.
Looking at the numbers for Blue Bloods’ current season 11, it averaged 6.411 Million LIVE viewers per episode and a 0.52 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 14, which aired last Friday, May 7, 2021, drew in 5.869 million LIVE viewers and a 0.45 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode to date was episode 12 with 6.825 million LIVE viewers. The least-watched episode to date was episode 14 with the 5.869 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was episode 10 with a 0.65 ratings score. The lowest-rated episodes were episodes 13 and 14. They tied for last place with a 0.45 ratings score. Those numbers were obviously good enough for CBS to renew it for a new season. So, thank God for that, and we’ll see you guys later on this year when we get more intel for the next, new season 12 of Blue Bloods.
