Hey, “The Good Doctor” fans. Welcome to the brand new season 5. We know you guys had to wait around for 3, long months for it to finally arrive, but the wait is over. That’s right, guys. The brand new season premiere episode 1 for the new season 5 is here tonight, September 27, 2021, and we’ve got a few spoiler scoops for it.
The wonderful ABC people were so very kind enough to deliver a few, new, official teaser descriptions for the new episode 1 via their official episode 1 press release. So, we’re going to dig into those right now. Let’s get into it.
First thing’s first. ABC let us know that this new, premiere episode 1 has officially been named/titled, “New Beginnings.” It sounds like episode 1 will feature some festive, dramatic, emotional and possible intense scenes as Shaun and Lea get everyone in a festive mood with their engagement party. A young, single mother learns some shocking news. Mateo gets a very important update and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Shawn and Lea situation. Yes, it turns out that Shaun and Lea will definitely have a big moment coming up as their engagement party is on the horizon. This event will certainly put everyone in the mood to be quite festive.
ABC’s official description for this latest Shaun and Lea storyline reads like this, “Shaun and Lea’s upcoming engagement party has everyone in a festive mood after their return from Guatemala.”
The second spoiler scoop reveals that a young, single mother will take the spotlight in this episode. Apparently, this lady’s son has come down with terrible cancer. At some point, the lady is going to find out that her son got the cancer from a very startling source!
ABC’s description for this young, single mother situation tells us, “A young single mother learns her son may have contracted his cancer from a surprising source.”
The 3rd and last teaser description for this new,premiere episode 1 lets us know that Mateo will get some very significant-sounding information in this episode as he will finally find out if the previous problems he faced in America will be resolved.
ABC’s description for this Mateo storyline reads like this, “Mateo finds out if his previous issues in America will be resolved.”
Episode 1 will feature one guest star. That one person is; Rachel Bay Jones as character Salen Morrison. Episode 1 was written by David Shore and Liz Friedman, and it was directed by Mike Listo.
ABC’s press release confirmed that the new, premiere episode 1 of The Good Doctor’s new season 5 is indeed scheduled to hit the air tonight, September 27, 2021 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
