Dancing With The Stars October 25, 2021 Eliminated Kenya Moore & Brandon Armstrong (Recap)

Hey, “Dancing With The Stars” fans. Tonight, October 25, 2021, another LIVE performance/results show for Dancing With The Stars’s current season 30 did indeed air, and another unlucky couple did get sent packing.

The judges: Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough were all there, once again, to serve up their usual scores and critiques. The theme for tonight’s episode was Horror Movies. So, the couples dressed up as popular horror movie characters to deliver their routines.

Tonight’s performances kicked off with The Miz and Witney Carson dancing a Paso Doble routine. Their Horror movie theme was “Hellraiser.” Afterwards, Len said, ” You nailed it, but you need to work on your posture and your hands.

Derek said, “I wanted more stretch and shape, but if Pinhead was real, he would have danced it exactly like that.”


Bruno said, “You channeled the dance with great control and good footwork, but you need to extend your movements through your wrists.” Carrie Ann said, “I loved it. It looked a little stiff, but it fit the character.”

Carrie Ann gave The Miz and Witney a 9 score, Len an 8, Derek a 9, Bruno an 8 for a total of 34 points.

Kenya Moore and Brandon Armstrong delivered an Argentine Tango routine. Their theme was “Arachnophobia” movie. Afterwards, Derek said, “You have an elegant demeanor and great leg extension, but there were a few wobbles.”

Bruno said, “You were beautiful and deadly with great poise, but you need to work on your transitions and stop doubting herself.”

Carrie Ann said, “You have so much power and digs in your dances. It’s spectacular, but sometimes you hit a pose and freeze instead of flowing through the dance.” Len said, “You captured the flavor of the Argentine tango.”

Carrie Ann gave Kenya and Brandon an 8, Len an 8, Derek an 8, Bruno an 8 for a total of 32 points.

JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson performed a Jazz number. “It” movie was there theme. Afterwards, Bruno said, “It was terrifying and absolutely brilliant. You turned a nightmare into a work of art.”

Carrie Ann said, “You’re obviously a brilliant dancer, but you keep pushing yourself to new limits.” Len said, “It was scary, and it captured the energy of the book.” Derek said, “I loved the juxtaposition between the scary “It” theme and the Anything Goes theatricality.”

Carrie Ann gave JoJo and Jenna a 10, Len a 10, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a perfect score of 40 points!

Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke danced a Cha Cha routine. “American Psycho” movie was their theme. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “You were amazing ,and you finally danced together as one.”

Len said, “Hallelujah! You finally showed your potential. It was your best dance with detail and technique ,and you had a great connection with Cheryl.” Bruno said, “It was a great cha cha.”

Carrie Ann gave Cody and Cheryl a 9, Len a 9, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 36 points.

Jimmie Allen and Emma Slater performed a Contemporary number. “A Quiet Place” movie was their theme. Afterwards, Len said, “I loved it. It had control and emotion, and you managed to dance well to tricky music.”

Derek said, “It was a beautiful routine with beautiful execution. You were authentic to the character.”

Bruno said, “You captured the essence of the movie.” Carrie Ann said, “You showed the dance’s capacity to make us better humans.”

Carrie Ann gave Jimmie a 10, Len a 9, Derek a 10, Bruno a 9 for a total of 38 points.

Olivia Jade and Val Chmerkovskiy delivered a Paso Doble dance. “The Purge” movie was their theme. Afterwards, Derek said, “You did so well in an especially difficult routine.”

Bruno said, “You kept up with Val in a difficult routine, but you still need to work on your shoulders.” Carrie Ann said, “You made it look effortless, and you stuck everything.” Len said, “It was terrific.”

Carrie Ann gave Olivia and Val a 9, Len a 9, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 36 points.

Melora Hardin and Artem Chigvintsev did a Jive dance. “Cujo” movie was their theme. Afterwards, Bruno said, “It had wit and a sense of humor, and you played off of each other incredibly well.”

Carrie Ann said, “It was a great dance, but it was a little safe ,and I want to see more from you beyond your comfort zone of humor.” Len said, “It had great jive content and great execution.” Derek said, “I want to see you push yourself farther.”

Carrie Ann gave Melora an 8, Len a 9, Derek an 8, Bruno a 9 for a total of 34 points.

Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach did a Contemporary dance. “Us” movie was their theme. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “Holy cow. That was genius. Sheer perfection.” Len said, “Daniella came up with a brilliant concept that made Iman look fantastic.”

Carrie Ann gave Iman and Daniella a 10, Len a 10, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a perfect 40 score!

Suni Lee and Sasha Farber danced a Tango routine. “The Vampire Diaries” TV show was their theme. Afterwards, Len said, “The footwork was a little off.”

Derek said, “There was a little disconnect with the music, and it needed more power.” Bruno said, “Tonight, you had bite, and you were reaching for the movement.” Carrie Ann said, “I noticed a tiny lift, but I can see that you’re having more and more fun every week. You need to keep that up.”

Carrie Ann gave Suni and Sasha a 9, Len a 9, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 36 points.

Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten served up the last performance of the night with an Argentine Tango dance. “Saw” movie was their theme. Afterwards, Derek said, “That was exactly what I was waiting for when I withheld a 10 score from you last week.”

Bruno said, “I appreciated the real Argentine tango content and the great execution.” Carrie Ann said, “You are pushing yourself with a little too much tension.” Len said, “It was too sharp.”

Carrie Ann gave Amanda a 9, Len a 9, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a total of 38 points.

After all of that, host Tyra Banks revealed that all the couples were safe except for Kenya Moore & Brandon Armstrong and Suni Lee & Sasha Farber. They landed in the bottom two after America’s votes were counted.

The judges got to vote to save one of the couples. Carrie Ann voted to save Suni & Sasha. Derek voted to save Suni & Farber. Bruno voted to save Suni & Farber and Len voted to save Suni & Farber. So, by a unanimous vote of 4-0, Kenya Moore & Brandon Armstrong were eliminated from Dancing With The Stars season 30 in tonight’s October 25, 2021 performances/results show.
