The Bachelorette November 9, 2021 Eliminated Will, Romeo & Chris G (Recap)

Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, November 9,2021, another new episode of The Bachelorette 2021 edition with headliner Michelle Young did indeed air, and another set of guys did indeed get the boot at the end.

Tonight’s episode kicked off with the guys talking about how Michelle got rid of Jamie in the last episode. They were, of course, happy about it. Michelle talked with Kaitlyn and Tayshia about how she got rid of Jamie.

Tayshia gave the guys their first date card of this episode. It revealed that Martin got a 1 on 1 date with Michelle. Olumide told the private cams, “Martin doesn’t deserve a woman of Michelle’s caliber.”

During Michelle and Martin’s 1 on 1 date, Michelle took Martin to the BMW Performance Center. They did a drifting competition. They also raced each other. Afterwards,they kissed.

At one point, they talked about what happened with Jamie. Martin told Michelle that he actually thinks Jamie is a great guy. So, Michelle asked Martin,”Do you think I made the wrong decision, getting rid of Jamie?”

Martin said, “No, that was your call and your relationship with him.” Michelle told the private cams this conversation made her feel that Martin was doubting her decision-making. She’s wasn’t sure what direction Jamie was trying to go with that comment.

Michelle told the private cams, “I do have questions for Martin. I don’t trust Martin completely yet.” Michelle told Martin she felt some kind of bad way about their Jamie conversation earlier. Martin told Michelle, “Sometimes, I’m very blunt with my opinions, and it doesn’t always come out right. That’s something I need to work on.”

Martin also told Michelle that he doesn’t ever cry. Michelle asked Martin if he can get to a point where he can open up more. They talked about how they both can open up more.

Michelle told Martin, “What I admire about you is that you do open up, but also listen. You also apply changes quickly, which is not very common.” Then, she gave Martin a rose, and they kissed. Michelle told the private cams, “Martin is challenging himself to open up. That’s really important to me.”

Will, Chris S., Casey, Chris G., Leroy, Rodney, Olu, Brandon, Clayton, Joe, Romeo, and Nayte went on a group date with Michelle. She took them to have a slumber party, which featured lots of desserts, treats and other amenities that the guys quickly got used to. Michelle got a little upset that the guys were so into all of the amenities because they didn’t try to take anytime to talk with her.

Co-hosts Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe eventually showed up to reveal that they’re doing something else. Then, former WWE wrestling stars The Bella twins showed up to tell the guys they’re going to do a teddy bear, fight showdown. The guys were split up into two teams for this challenge. Each of the guys from each team did a 1 on 1, teddy bear, pillow fight with a guy from the other team. The team with the most wins, won

The losing team had to go home. The winning team got to go to the afterparty with Michelle.

After the first half of the group date, Michelle expressed her frustration to Kaitlyn and Tayshia about the guys not paying attention to her during the slumber party, group date.

At the afterparty, Michelle told the guys she felt unseen during the slumber party, group date. She talked with Nayte. Michelle told Nayte, “I was really hurt that you didn’t pull me aside to talk during the group date.” Nayte told Michelle, “You’re definitely seen. I will make more of an effort. I’m sorry you felt that way.”

Michelle talked with Romeo. Romeo told Michelle, “Thank you for telling us how you feel.” Clayton told Michelle, “I’ll do more. I was playing it safe I guess.” Olumide told Michelle, “What you said reminded me of my sister. It made me cry. I adore you. I really do.” Michelle told Olumide, “I appreciate what you said. It makes an impact for sure.” Then, they hugged. Michelle ended up giving Olumide the group date rose.

Michelle told the private cams, “I’m glad I expressed my feelings to the guys instead of keeping quiet like I did in the past.”

Next, Rick and Michelle went on their 1 on 1 date. They went for a walk in the woods. At one point, they found a wish box, read other people’s wishes and made their own wishes.

Rick told Michelle, “You make me feel comfortable and easy.” Michelle said, “I like who you are.” Then, they kissed. Michelle told the private cams, “Our date has taken us to new heights.”

During the second half of their date, Rick told Michelle about his father and how he cheated on his mother. Rick explained that he actually ratted his father out to his mother. Then ,he went into how his father died and so on and so forth. It was really sad. Rick also said something about how he stopped blaming himself for his parents’ break up.

Rick also told Michelle, “I look forward to being able to tell you I’m in love with you.” Michelle said, “I didn’t expect that,” and they kissed. She gave him a rose, and they kissed again. They also danced to a private concert by singer Andy Grammer. He sang his new song, “New Lease On Life.”

At the cocktail party, Chris S told Michelle, right in front of all the guys, “There are guys here that think they have it in the bag with you, and I think that’s bullsh#%t. I think the guys who are guilty of that should step up or go home.”

Chris S pulled Michelle to talk 1 on 1 about what he just said. He told her, “I felt like I was one of the guys who put in time to make you feel noticed.” He said he thinks there are people there that are doing the same thing to her that her past relationship guy did to her, which was make her feel unseen.

Then, Chris S brought up Nayte’s name as one of the guys he thinks is too arrogant saying, “Nayte said, ‘I already know I’m gonna get a 1 on 1 date. So, it didn’t really matter.'” “I think you deserve to know this,” Chris S said.

Meanwhile, the other guys said they felt Chris S was out of place for what he did. They eventually confronted Chris S.

Michelle talked with Nayte. Michelle told Nayte, “Chris S brought your name up about you thinking you already have a 1 on 1 date coming. I’m not sure how to feel about that. You should never feel like you have anything in the bag.” Nayte told the private cams, “I feel like things are going down hill with Michelle for no reason.” Nayte pulled Chris S for a confrontation.

Chris S told Nayte, “I didn’t mean to single you out, but she kept probing and probing. I gave her the facts.” Nayte told the other guys, Chris is a weirdo and a dweeb. All the guys agreed that Chris S is a snake.

Michelle talked with Joe. Joe brought Michelle some snacks to cheer her up. Joe told Michelle, “I’m sorry you felt unseen. I care about you,” and they cuddled and kissed. Rodney told Michelle, “Our 1 on 1 date was one of the best dates I ever had.” Michelle told Brandon J, “You have made me feel very special,” and they kissed.

During the rose ceremony, Michelle gave Brandon J, Leroy, Joe, Rodney, Clayton, Casey, Nayte and Chris S a rose to join Martin, Olumide and Rick who received roses earlier in the episode.

That means poor Will, Romeo and Chris G didn’t get a rose and had to make their exit. To close out this episode, Michelle told the guys, they’re leaving Indian Wells, California and going to her hometown Minneapolis, Minnesota. And that was the show, guys.

The next, new episode for The Bachelorette 2021 edition with headliner Michelle Young is scheduled to air next Tuesday night, November 16, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on CBS.
