New The Equalizer Season 2 Spoilers For January 9, 2022 Episode 9 Revealed
Hey, “The Equalizer” fans. We hope you guys totally had a blast watching episode 8 tonight, especially since it got delayed for a pretty long time. Now that episode 8 is finally in the can, we are back on here to tell you what’s coming up in the next, new episode 9 of The Equalizer’s current season 2, which is due out next Sunday night, January 9, 2022.
We were able to get an official teaser description for one of episode 9’s main storylines via CBS’ official episode 9 press release. So, we’re going to take a look at it ,right now, and see what’s up with it.
First thing’s first. CBS let us know that this new episode 9 does have an official title. It’s called, “Bout That Life.” It sounds like episode 9 will feature some very intense, dramatic, interesting, action-filled, scandalous and suspenseful scenes.
In the new episode 9, some deadly, rival rap crews will be the main focus of this storyline that CBS chose to reveal. It turns out that McCall will definitely have her hands full in this episode. Apparently, McCall is going to get hired by the wife of a famous rapper named Dilemma in an effort to prove that Dilemma didn’t actually kill a fellow artist.
This new assignment will cause McCall to end up getting caught in the middle of a deadly battle that’s taking place between some rival rap crews!
CBS’ official description for episode 9 reads like this, “McCall becomes ensnared in a deadly battle between rival rap crews when she is hired by the wife of a famous rapper, Dilemma (Rick Ross), to prove the musician is innocent of murdering a fellow artist on the CBS Original series THE EQUALIZER.”
Episode 9 will feature quite a few guest stars. They are: Rick Ross as character (Dilemma), Maxwell Whittington-Cooper as character (Daoud), Ade Chike Torbert as character (Brawlah), Nathaniel McIntyre as character (Cameron), Jordan Aaron Hall as character (Nasir), Narsi Regina as character (Deirdre), Andre Tucker, Jr. as character (Recording Engineer).
Guest stars continued: Lucky Ray as character (Sidney “Sid” Rodgers), Lemarvae Staples as character (Young Man), Stephen Foster Harris as character (Security Guard), Darius “Nastyelgic” Jackson as character (Dre Bids), Jason Babinsky as character (Jacob Styles) and Faiven Feshazion as character (Assistant).
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 9 are: Queen Latifah as character (Robyn McCall), Tory Kittles as character (Detective Marcus Dante), Adam Goldberg as character (Harry Keshegian), Liza Lapira as character (Melody “Mel” Bayani), Laya DeLeon Hayes as character (Delilah), Lorraine Toussaint as character (Viola “Vi” Marsette) and Chris Noth as character (William Bishop).
Episode 9 was written by Jamila Daniel, and it was directed by Eric Laneuville.
CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 9 of The Equalizer’s current season 2 is indeed scheduled to hit the air next Sunday night, January 9, 2022 at approximately 7 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
