Chicago PD Season 9, April 27, 2022 Episode 20 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Chicago PD” fans. Unfortunately, we’ve got some super bad news for you guys in this article. We’ve learned that the folks over at NBC are not going to air the next, new episode 20 of Chicago PD’s current season 9 tonight, April 27,2022. It’s also going to be MIA (missing in action) next Wednesday night, May 4, 2022. We’re not sure why NBC is doing this. We’re just relaying the message.
What we can tell you is that NBC did confirm that they plan to air the new episode 20 on Wednesday night, May 11, 2022 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to lock that very important date and time into your memory.
We were able to take a look at what NBC is airing instead of the next, new episode 20 of Chicago PD’s current season 9 during this 2-week delay period. According to the TV Guide listings, NBC has a couple of Chicago PD, repeat episodes lined up for you guys. Tonight, they’re going to re-air the 7th episode of this season 9 titled, “Trust Me.”
NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “As the team works to bring down a drug ring, Voight builds trust with a new informant. However, it soon becomes clear she has a plan of her own.”
Next, Wednesday night, May 4, 2022, NBC is going to re-air the 8th episode of this season 9 titled,”Fractures.” NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “As the team investigates the stabbing of a father with two young daughters, they begin to suspect there is more to the story than meets the eye. The FBI investigation into Roy Walton’s death intensifies while Voight, Upton and Halstead feel the heat.”
If any of you guys have any interest in these repeat episodes of Chicago PD, you might still want to keep NBC on your watchlist ,tonight, and next Wednesday night. If it’s just the brand new episodes of Chicago PD that you want, you will certainly want to get some other plans lined up for tonight and next Wednesday night at your earliest convenience.

It let us know that the writers decided to title this new episode 20, “MEMORY,” It sounds like episode 20 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic, possible action-filled and suspenseful scenes.
NBC’s official description for episode 20 reads like this, “Voight and the team delve into a cold case in search of clues to solve a shocking new crime. With its focus on buried memories, the case sparks concern for Burgess and Ruzek about Makayla’s mental healing.”
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 20 of Chicago PD’s current season 9 is scheduled to finally make its way to your TV screens on Wednesday night, May 11, 2022 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
