Power Book III Raising Kanan Season 2, October 23, 2022 Episode 10 Is The Finale. Season 3 Is Happening
Hey, “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” fans. We hope you guys totally dug how episode 10 played out ,tonight, especially since episode 10 was indeed the last episode of this current season 2 of the show. That’s right, guys. Season 10 was the season 2 finale episode for those of you who didn’t get the memo on that yet.
So, what does all this mean? Well, fortunately for you guys, it means you can now start focusing on what will be coming down the pipeline in the next, new season 3 because we can confirm with you, right now, that STARZ did renew Power Book III: Raising Kanan for a brand new season 3! That’s right, guys. You can now feel free to pop a core on a champagne bottle and celebrate.
According to the folks over at Deadline.com , STARZ actually renewed Power Book III: Raising Kanan for a new, third season before season 2 even started! Yep, they were very confident in the show indeed. Deadline also revealed that filming for the new season 3 actually already started. They started filming it this past Summer 2022 in New York.
Currently, we’re not sure when the new season 3 will premiere or how many episodes it will feature. We’re guessing STARZ will probably order up another 10 episodes like they always do. But again, we’ll have to wait and see to be sure.
During the renewal announcement, Kathryn Busby who is the President of STARZ Original Programming had wonderful things to say about the show stating, “Our passionate and loyal fans have been eagerly awaiting the season two return of Raising Kanan to see the continued transformation of a young and naïve teenage Kanan Stark into the ruthless, no-nonsense character they know and love, and we’re thrilled to be doubling down on a third season with this incredible cast led by Patina and MeKai.”
Sascha Penn will return as showrunner and executive producer for season 3. Chris Selak, Kevin Fox, Santa Sierra, and Natasha Gray will also be executive producers.
Power Book III: Raising Kanan’s current season 2 averaged 238,000 LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.06 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 9, which aired last Sunday night, October 16, 2022, drew in 210,000 LIVE viewers, and a 0.05 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 345,000 LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 5 with 206,000 LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was the premiere episode 1 with a 0.11 ratings score. The lowest rated episodes were episodes 5 and 6. They both tied for last place with a 0.04 ratings score. We’re pretty sure this show got much more viewers from the streaming platforms.
