The Good Doctor Season 6 March 27, 2023 Episode 18 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “The Good Doctor” fans. Unfortunately, we’re on here to tell you that ABC is not airing the next, new episode 18 of The Good Doctor’s current season 6 tonight, March 27, 2023. Yep, it’s true. ABC has some other broadcasting obligations they need to fill tonight.
However, the good news is that this particular delay is just for this one week. ABC’s official episode 18 press release is telling us that ABC plans to finally air the new episode 18 next Monday night, April 3, 2023 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely look for the new episode 18 to pop up next Monday night.
Ok, so here’s why ABC is not airing a new episode of The Good Doctor tonight. According to the TV guide listings, ABC has got to deliver their annual, 3-hour finale episode of their flagship reality show “The Bachelor.” That’s right, guys. Tonight, the big finale episode 11 of The Bachelor 2023 edition will take up ABC’s entire primetime slots.
ABC’s official description for The Bachelor 2023, finale episode 11 reads like this, “The Bachelor. Finale and After the Final Rose. Zach introduces Gabi and Kaity to his family. A live studio audience watches as Jesse Palmer sits down with Zach and his three final women to watch the emotional conclusion of his journey.”
If any of you guys happen to also be fans of The Bachelor, this might not be such bad news for you, and you may still want to watch ABC tonight as you normally would at that time. If you are not fans of The Bachelor, you will certainly want to avoid ABC tonight at all costs during that time, and check back next Monday night.
Spoiler Warning: We did track down some new teaser scoops for the next, new episode 18 of The Good Doctor’s current season 6 from ABC’s official episode 18 press release description. It revealed that this new episode 18 is officially titled, “A Blip.”
ABC’s official description for episode 18 reads like this, “When a patient comes in with persistent and lingering COVID symptoms, the team discovers she may be dealing with something harder to treat. Andrews and Villanueva must contend with their hierarchy at the hospital and its effect on their relationship.”
Again, ABC confirmed that the next, new episode 18 of The Good Doctor’s current season 6 is scheduled to finally make its arrival next Monday night, April 3, 2023 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot.
