Blue Bloods Season 13 April 14, 2023 Episode 18 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “Blue Bloods” fans. Unfortunately, we have some bad news that we have to throw at you tonight. A new episode of your favorite show Blue Bloods is not airing tonight, April 14, 2023. Yeah, for some unknown reason to us, CBS has chosen not to air the next, new episode 18 of Blue Bloods’ current season 13 tonight.
The good news is that CBS’ official episode 13 press release is telling us that CBS does intend to air the new episode 18 as early as next Friday night, April 21, 2023. During that time, it will show up in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be on the lookout for the new episode 18 next Friday night.
We did take a look at what CBS is going to air in place of a brand new Blue Bloods episode tonight. According to the TV guide listings, CBS is going to air a repeat episode of Blue Bloods. It will be the very first, premiere episode 1 of this season 13 titled, “Keeping the Faith.”
CBS’ official description for this repeat episode 1 of Blue Bloods season 13 reads like this, “Eddie and Jamie deal with a domestic violence case associated with an investigation led by Danny and Baez. Frank and his friend go on a mission to avail themselves to an unfiltered look at the city. Erin is presented with a surprising offer.”
If any of you guys are down for watching that particular repeat episode of Blue Bloods for whatever reason, you might still want to tune into CBS tonight as you normally would. If you have no desire to watch any repeat episode of Blue Bloods at all, you will definitely want to abandon CBS tonight and check back next Friday night.
Spoiler Warning: We were able to get a hold of a new, official teaser synopsis for the next, new episode 18 of Blue Bloods’ current season 13 straight from CBS’ official episode 18 press release. It revealed that this new episode 18 has been officially titled, “Family Matters.”
CBS’ official description for the new episode 18 reads like this, “Danny and Baez investigate a case of grand larceny tied to feuding crime families when the gifts are stolen during a mob wedding. Also, Frank clashes with Mayor Chase (Dylan Walsh) when an influx of immigrants arrive in the city.
Erin questions whether her district attorney campaign is compromising her day job; and Eddie enlists Jamie’s help to bust a drug dealer responsible for fentanyl overdoses in order to comfort a grieving grandfather (Larry Manetti) on BLUE BLOODS.”
Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 18 of Blue Bloods’ current season 13 is scheduled to finally make its way to the air next Friday night, April 21, 2023 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
