Dateline NBC August 4, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “Dateline NBC” fans. We’re back to let you know that NBC is serving up another episode of Dateline NBC tonight, August 4,2023. However, this will not be a new episode once again. You’re getting another repeat, but some of you guys might not have seen this repeat episode. So, we’re going to serve up some preview info for it.
NBC dished out a new, official press release for tonight’s August 4, 2023 repeat episode. So, we’re going to dig into it for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
First thing’s first. There’s an official title for this repeat episode of Dateline NBC. It’s called, “The Black Candle Confession.” It originally aired way, way back on January 17, 2020.
In tonight’s August 4, 2023 repeat episode, the Dateline NBC team took a deep look at a story about a West Liberty, Iowa woman named Jessie Becker. When she was 9 years old, she saw a glimpse of a sobbing woman lighting some black candles, and she never forgot it. After a couple of decades, Jessie revealed what she saw, and it reignited an investigation involving the unsolved murder of a local bartender.
Canadian Broadcaster Keith Morrison handled the reporting duties for this case and episode. It also features interviews with: Jessie Becker, Sheriff CJ Ryan, District Attorney Alan Ostergren and others.
NBC’s official description for tonight’s August 4, 2023 repeat episode of Dateline NBC reads like this, “A glimpse of a sobbing woman lighting black candles is seared into 9-year-old Jessie Becker’s memory. Decades later Jessie reveals what she saw, reigniting an investigation into the unsolved murder of a local bartender.”
An alternate description tells us, “A woman confesses a childhood memory that leads to the reopening of an investigation into the unsolved murder of Iowa bartender Corey Wieneke.”
If any of you guys happened to have missed that particular repeat episode of Dateline NBC when it originally aired, you might still want to hit up NBC tonight to check it out. If you did see this repeat episode when it originally aired, and you have no desire at all to watch it again, you will certainly want to skip NBC tonight at that time and get something else lined up.
NBC’ press release confirmed that Dateline NBC will be a repeat episode again tonight, August 4, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV sets, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
