America’s Got Talent January 8, 2024 Qualifiers 2 Results Revealed (Recap)
Hey, “America’s Got Talent” fans. Tonight, January 8, 2024, another new episode of America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League edition season 1 did indeed hit the air, and 6 more contestants made it through to see another day at the end of it.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the Adrian Stoica & Hurricane Dog Act. Afterwards, Judge Howie Mandel said, “It seems like Hurricane has trained you.” Judge Mel B said, “You’re just adorable.” Judge Simon Cowell said,”Your act just keeps getting better. I admire that you’re willing to put your title on the line.”
Magician Piff the Magic Dragon performed . Afterwards, Simon said, “You delivered the best overall performance I’ve seen from you.” Howie said, “You came with a winning performance.”
Dance Group Mersey Girls performed. Afterwards, Howie said, “I’m moved by the routine, but I don’t know if it’s great.” Judge Heidi Klum said, “I agree with Howie. You’re snoozy.” Simon said, “I like acts that want to win. Stories are important. I think the audience will advance you.”
Country singer Drake Milligan performed. Afterwards, Simon said, “You’re a star, but I didn’t like the song. As a writer, you are better than that. You didn’t connect to the song.” Heidi said, “I liked the song.”
Hand Balancers the Ramadhani Brothers performed. Afterwards, Mel B said, “I wish I had the Golden buzzer this week. You are unbelievable!” Simon said, “You broke through the ceiling.” Howie said, “You can do better.” Then, Howie hit his Golden Buzzer to steal them. So, they moved on straight to the finals.
Comedian Preacher Lawson performed. Afterwards, Howie said, “I don’t think you need my Golden Buzzer.” Simon said, “You stepped up your act. It’s a winning performance. I really like you.”
Hoop artist Grace Good performed. Afterwards, Simon said, “I can’t figure out your unique selling point. I didn’t like the work on the ball.” Mel B. disagreed with Simon. Howie said, “You’re fantastic.”
Acrobats Vardanyan Brothers performed. Afterwards, Howie said, “You guys took it to a whole new level.” Simon said, ” You guys had more levels you could reach. You didn’t step it up from BGT (Britain’s Got Talent). I don’t think you’ll go through.”
Comedian Wes-P performed. Mel B buzzed him. Simon said, “I love this guy.” Mel B said, “I’ve just wasted 4 minutes of my life.”
Singer Sheldon Riley performed. Afterwards, Mel and Heidi said, “You’re gorgeous.” Howie said, “You stepped it up and did something wonderful for the world.” Simon said, “Your voice is distinct, and you’re a proper frontman singer.”
After all of that, host Terry Crews revealed which contestants made it through to the semi-finals via the viewing audience’s votes. They are: Vardanyan Brothers, Sheldon Riley, Grace Good, Preacher Lawson and Adrian Stoica & Hurricane. The Rahmahadan Brothers made it straight through to the finals via Howie’s Golden Buzzer.
That unfortunately means that: Wes-P, Mersey Girls, Piff the Magic Dragon and Drake Milligan were all eliminated. How do you guys feel about that? Let us know in the comments section.
