Hey, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” fans. We’re back on here with some wonderful news for you guys because the brand new Law & Order SVU season 25, premiere episode 1 is going to finally arrive tonight, January 18, 2024.
That’s right, guys. After months and months of delays due to the writers and actors strikes of 2023, we’re finally getting the new season tonight, and we’ve got some new spoiler info for it to run by you guys.
We were able to round up a couple of new, official teaser descriptions for this new episode 1 via NBC’s official episode 1 press release synopsis. So, that is what we’ll be working with as a source for this spoiler session. Let’s get into it.
For starters, there is an official title for this new episode 1 of Law & Order SVU season 25. The writers decided to call this one, “Tunnel Blind.” It sounds like episode 1 will feature some very festive, interesting, emotional, intense, dramatic, scandalous and suspenseful scenes as a child birth is celebrated. A child goes missing and more.
We’ll go ahead and kick off this spoiler session with the child birth celebration. Yep, it turns out that Rollins and Carisi’s child will be born at some point in this episode. So, we will see the squad serve up a big celebration in light of it.
NBC’s official description for this childbirth celebration reads like this, “The squad celebrates the birth of Rollins and Carisi’s child.”
The second and final teaser scoop for this new episode 1 lets us know that something very bad will happen at some point as a child will turn up missing right in broad daylight. NBC’s description for this missing child plotline reads like this, “A child goes missing in broad daylight.”
NBC’s press release confirmed that the new, premiere episode 1 of Law & Order: SVU’s new season 25 is indeed scheduled to finally make its way to the air tonight, January 18, 2024, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time. Tonight’s new episode will be a 1-hour event. So,expect it to wrap up at 9 pm central standard time.
