CBS served up an official press release for tonight’s new, February 3, 2024 edition. So, we will certainly see exactly what it has to say right now. Let’s get to it.
First off, there is an official title for this new episode 17 of 48 Hours season 37. It’s called, “Who Took Our Dad? The Abduction of Ray Wright.”
In tonight’s new, February 3, 2024 episode 17, the 48 Hours team will take a deep look at a story about a 55 year old man named Ray Wright. One day, he suddenly lost all contact with his family, and they knew something was wrong. Two days later, Ray’s brother confronted an intruder that was in Ray’s house, but it was still a mystery as to what happened to Ray. 16 days later, there was a high speed car chase that gave the police some clues to work with.
The driver in the person trying to get away was a man named Victor Gray. He ended up wrecking his van during the car chase, and it was filled with evidence in regards to Ray Wright’s death. The investigators found a photo of a letter he wrote to a man named Bob.
Victor Gray was demanding payment for delivering Ray Wright to Bob for a revenge scheme. At this point, the investigators needed to find out who Bob is and why he wanted revenge. American journalist Natalie Morales handled the reporting duties for this case and episode.
NBC’s description for tonight’s new, February 3, 2024 episode 17 of 48 Hours season 37 reads like this, “When Ray Wright, 55, suddenly lost contact with his family, they knew something was wrong. Two days later, his brother confronted an intruder in Ray Wright’s home. What happened to Wright was a mystery. Then, 16 days after Ray Wright vanished, a high-speed chase gave police clues to what happened. Natalie Morales reports on the case in 48 HOURS: “Who Took Our Dad? The Abduction of Ray Wright.”

CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 17 of 48 Hours’ current season 37 is indeed scheduled to show up on your TV sets tonight, February 3, 2024, starting at approximately 9 pm central standard time. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+. This will be a 1-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
