New 20/20, April 5, 2024 Two Hour Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “20/20” fans. We’re back on here to let you know that another new edition of 20/20 is set to hit the air tonight, April 5, 2024. Yep, ABC is going to dish up the next, new episode 13 of this current season 46 tonight, and we’ve got some new preview information for it.
ABC served up an official press release for tonight’s new episode 13. So, we will certainly see what it has to say in this preview session. Let’s get into it.
For starters, NBC gave us the official title for this new episode 13 of 20/20 season 46. It’s called, “Am I Next?”
In tonight’s new episode 13, the 20/20 team will take a deep look at a story about a young Tennessee couple who were found shot to death in their own home. The investigators who worked this case eventually discovered that this couple was involved in an online feud, which included a deadly catfshing scheme.
This episode will dig deep into the web of lies that were created and reveal who the shocking mastermind was for these murders. ABC News chief national correspondent Matt Gutman handled the reporting duties for this episode and case.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s new, April 5, 2024 episode 13 of 20/20 season 46 reads like this, “When 36-year-old Bill Payne and 23-year-old Billie Jean Hayworth were found in their Tennessee home shot dead with their 7-month-old son, unharmed in his dead mother’s arms, investigators said the murder looked like it could be a professional hit.
Authorities soon learned the young couple had become embroiled in a bitter online feud and uncover a deadly catfishing scheme. In a new “20/20,” ABC News chief national correspondent Matt Gutman investigates an incriminating trail, including hundreds of social media posts, texts and emails, untangling a web of lies and unmasking an unlikely mastermind behind the murder plot.”
An alternate description tells us,”A WILD AND DEADLY GAME OF CATFISH – ’20/20′ INVESTIGATES TWO MURDERS THAT ALLEGEDLY LEAD TO THE CIA. This Program Features Interviews With the Mother and Daughter Accused in the Murder Plot.”
ABC’s press release confirmed that 20/20 will be brand new again tonight, April 5, 2024, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV screens, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time. It will be a 2-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
