The Bachelorette July 22, 2024 Eliminated Hakeem & Tomas A, And Aaron Quit (Recap)
Hey, “Bachelor Nation” fans. Tonight, July 22, 2024,another new episode of The Bachelorette 2024 edition with headliner Jenn Tran hit the air, and another set of men got sent packing. One of the guys quit and more.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with talk about Devin and Thomas N’s argument from the last episode. After all of that, Spencer went to greet Jenn for a 1 on 1 date. They greeted each other with a big hug and kiss. Then, they went on a helicopter ride to Twelve Apostles, which is a famous tourist location over in Australia. They drank champagne on the helicopter and kissed. They appeared to have a blast.
During the second half of their date, they talked. Jenn told him about her toxic past relationships. He did too by saying, “I was engaged before, but I got cheated on.” Jenn said, “Sorry you had such a traumatic experience with your last relationship. Do you think you’re ready for an engagement now?”
Spencer said, “After 4 years of self reflection, I’m ready now. I’m more ready than ever to be engaged again.” Jenn said,”I love that about you. I’m excited about us. Will you except this rose?” Spencer said, “Always, absolutely,” and they kissed.
Spencer told the private cams, “I’m more happier than ever that this could result in me getting down on one knee and getting engaged.” Jenn told the private cams of Spencer, “I’m excited to see where else this could go.”
Next, Jenn took: Dylan, Marcus, Tomas A., John, Grant, Jonathon, Sam N., Thomas N., Sam M. and Devin out on a group date. During it, Jenn took them to “The Down Under” strip club. They had to perform a strip routine for Jenn and judges Becky and Ellie Miles. The men were taught a couple of strip moves by some of the dancers that work there before they hit the stage.
At one point, Sam N told the private cams that he was not happy about having to strip saying,”I came here to find love, not strip.” Jonathon ended up winning the stripping competition when it was all said and done.
At the afterparty, Jenn talked with Devin. He told her, “I was really insecure growing up. Thank you for giving me the confidence to forget about everything out on the dance floor,” and they kissed. Jenn told the private cams, “I was glad to see Devin peel back some layers for me.”
Jenn talked with Sam N. He told Jenn about his feelings of nervousness. She said, “I’m glad you told me and were honest because that’s what being in a relationship is all about.” Jenn talked with Sam M. They mostly flirted and kissed.
At one point, Devin got into an argument with Sam M and Thomas N. Sam M told Devin,”I don’t wanna be friends with you. I don’t wanna talk to you. Let’s just leave it at that.” At the end of it all, Jenn ended up giving Devin the group date rose for opening up to her about his past insecurities.
It was revealed that Aaron got a call. During that call, he was informed that has a day to think about if he should leave to pursue getting his fighter pilot license because he won’t get another shot at it if he misses this particular opportunity.
Jenn took Aaron, Austin, Hakeem and Jeremy out on a group date. During it, Jenn showed up in a race car ,and she was drifting in it like a pro. The guys were really impressed. From there, they did some race car driving on a professional race track. Then, individually, they each got in a car with Jenn and drove around the track as fast as they could. The guy with the fastest time, won extra time with Jenn. Austin was the winner. Austin was seen kissing Jenn as soon as their 1 on 1 time started.
During the afterparty, Jenn talked with Aaron. She told him,”You did great on the drift. I was surprised.” Aaron said, “Thanks, it was fun.” He went on to tell her, “I’m close with my family. I wanna live everyday like it’s my last. I can see something special with you,” and they kissed.
Jenn talked with Jeremy. She told him about her past relationships saying, “The men I used to date were too insecure, and I always felt like I had to hold back my success for them.” Jeremy told Jenn, “I have a crush on you” and they kissed.
Jenn talked with Hakeem. He told her, “I want you to feel safe around me. That’s the most important thing for me.” Jenn talked with Austin. He said, “I’ve never really been in love before. Have you?” Jenn said, “I never had a true partnership.” They told each other they deserve a good relationship, and they kissed.
At the end, Jenn gave Jeremy the group date rose. That made Aaron pretty unhappy, and he told the private cams, “Maybe I should go ahead and leave to get my fighter pilot license. I don’t feel like I’m far enough along with Jenn to give up getting my fighter pilot license.”
So, Aaron told Jenn that he’s going to leave to go pursue his fighter pilot license. Jenn said, “I completely understand. I would never want you to recent me for not doing that.” Then, Aaron told her, “I really care about you, and I don’t think some of the guys are here for the right reasons.”
That alarmed Jenn, and she wanted Aaron to give her some names, but he wouldn’t do that saying, “I don’t want to say any names. I think you’ll need to figure it out for yourself.” So, Jenn got upset about that.
After walking Aaron out, Jenn went back and told the rest of the guys what Aaron said, and she told them, “If you think this isn’t right for you, you need to get out! I’m taking this process very seriously.”
After all of that, Jenn continued the cocktail party by talking with Marcus. He told her, “I catch myself thinking about you when I’m not with you.” Jenn said, “Thank you. This is what I needed.”
Jenn talked with Sam M. He told her, “I believe in our relationship,” and they hugged and kissed. Jenn talked with Devin. He told her, “You deserve somebody that will have your back, and I will.” Jenn told the private cams, “Devin sees me for who I am. He sees me.”
At the rose ceremony, Jenn gave: Marcus, John, Jonathon, Austin, Grant, Sam M., Thomas N., Dylan and Sam N. a rose to join Devin, Jeremy and Spencer who received roses earlier in this episode. That means poor Hakeem and Tomas A. did not receive a rose. So, they were eliminated to join Aaron who decided to quit earlier in this episode to pursue his fighter pilot license.
