New FBI Season 7, Episode 1 Premiere Date Revealed By CBS. Plus Other Details
Hey, “FBI” fans. We’re back on here with some great news for you guys. Over the summer, the CBS people did reveal when they plan to premiere the brand new season 7 of your favorite CBS drama/crime series FBI. So, we’re going to let you know that very important information and more in this article.
First, we’ve got the official premiere date for the very first, premiere episode 1 of FBI’s new season 7. It’s scheduled to show up on Tuesday night, October 15, 2024 in the 7 pm central standard time slot. So, it will be keeping its same night and time that it held during the last season 6.
If you guys are also fans of the FBI spinoff shows: FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted, you’ll be happy to know that their new season premieres will also debut on that same night. FBI: Most Wanted is going to fall in the 8 pm central standard time slot, and FBI: International will take over the 9 pm central standard time slot. So, there’s a little switcheroo in time slots for those two as the Most Wanted series used to claim the 9 pm central time slot.
Some other important information that the folks over at TV Guide brought up is that the series regulars for both FBI and FBI: Most Wanted had to get their guaranteed minimum episodes cut by two episodes due to all these rising costs. So, they will show up in two less episodes in the 2024-2025 season.
TV Guide is speculating that CBS is going to most likely serve up between 19 to 23 new episodes of FBI season 7, which will definitely be a lot more than the mere 13 episodes they aired for season 6 due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes that happened in 2023.
It’s also been reported that the FBI showrunner Rick Eid left to go work on NBC’s Law & Order series. So, a new showrunner named Mike Weiss has been brought on to run the FBI season 7 series. Mike Weiss was a co-Executive producer for Chicago PD seasons 3 and 4.
Again, you guys can finally expect to see the brand new season 7 of CBS’ FBI series finally make its premiere on Tuesday night, October 15, 2024 in the 7 pm central standard time slot along with the premiere of the new seasons for its spinoff shows FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International.
