New 60 Minutes October 6 Episode Delayed, Preempted. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “60 Minutes” fans. We’ve got some super bad news for you guys in this article. Due to some other TV obligations, The CBS people are not airing the next, new episode 4 of 60 Minutes’ current season 57 tonight, October 6, 2024.
However, on a much brighter note, you will not have to wait very long to see it because CBS does plan to air it tomorrow night, October 7, 2024 in a special 7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to check back in tomorrow night at that time to catch the latest episode 4 of 60 Minutes.
In the meantime, we did find out what CBS is airing instead of a new 60 Minutes episode tonight. According to the TV guide listings. CBS is providing LIVE coverage of a NFL football game that’s going to run all the way until 7 pm tonight. Then, right after that, they’re providing LIVE coverage for the 2024 American Music Awards, which will last until 9 pm central time. From there, they will air another new episode of Big Brother until 10 pm central time. So, 60 Minutes just got squeezed out of the line up tonight.
CBS’ official description for tonight’s LIVE coverage of the NFL football game reads like this, “NFL Football. Green Bay Packers at Los Angeles Rams Live. The Packers (2-2) try to continue their mastery of the Rams (1-3). Green Bay has won nine of the last 10 meetings. Jordan Love (GB) recorded career highs of 389 yards passing with four touchdowns in a 31-29 setback against Minnesota in Week 4.”
CBS’ official description for the 2024 American Music Awards LIVE coverage reads like this, “American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special Live. Honoring musicians at the annual ceremony.”
CBS’ official description for the tonight’s new Big Brother episode reads like this, “The head of household nominates three fellow houseguests for possible eviction.”
If any of you guys find this alternate line of programming tonight to be enticing at all, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight to check it all out. If you only want to see the new 60 Minutes episode, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans for tonight and check back in tomorrow night.
Again, the next, new episode 4 of 60 Minutes’ current season 57 is scheduled to air tomorrow night, October 7, 2024 instead of tonight, October 6, 2024, and it will air in a special, 7 pm central standard time slot.
