New Elsbeth October 17 Season 2 Premiere Episode 1 Spoilers Reveal Opera Murder & More
Hey,”Elsbeth” fans. Welcome to the brand new season 2! That’s right, guys. After many summer months of break time, CBS is going to finally debut the very first, premiere episode 1 of this new season 2 tonight, October 17, 2024, and we’ve got some new spoiler scoops for it.
CBS was nice enough to give us 2, new, official teaser descriptions for this new episode 1 via their official episode 1 press release synopsis. So, we will certainly pull it up for this spoiler session. Let’s get into it.
The first bit of information we have for this new episode 1 is the official title. The writers decided to call this one, “Subscription to Murder.” It sounds like episode 1 will feature some very scandalous, intense, dramatic, action-filled, suspenseful and interesting scenes as an opera stabbing takes place! New changes in the precinct pop up and more.
The first spoiler teaser reveals that a womanizing finance executive will hit up an opera session in this episode, and it’ll be the last opera he ever attends because he will totally get stabbed to death at some point! In response, Elsbeth will jump on this case and run an investigation. During it, she will suspect that an obsessed opera lover is the culprit due to a cell phone that starts ringing.
CBS’ official description for this opera murder plotline reads like this, “When a womanizing finance executive is found stabbed to death after a night at the opera, Elsbeth suspects an obsessed opera lover (Nathan Lane) was driven to murder because of a ringing cell phone.”
The second and final teaser description for this new episode 1 lets us know that the consequences of Noonan’s mistakes will continue to loom. So, we’ll see Elsbeth, Captain Wagner and Kaya have to make some adjustments.
CBS’ description for these Elsbeth, Captain Wagner and Kaya adjustments reads like this, “Elsbeth, Captain Wagner and Kaya must adjust to changes in the precinct as the consequences of Noonan’s wrongdoing continue to loom.”
Episode 1 will feature one guest star, which is Nathan Lane as character Phillip Cross, an Obsessed Opera Lover Driven to Murder. Episode 1 was written by Jonathan Tolins, and it was directed by Nancy Hower.
Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that the new, premiere episode 1 of Elsbeth’s new season 2 is indeed scheduled to finally hit the air tonight, October 17, 2024 in the 9 pm central standard time slot. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs).
