New Dancing With The Stars November 19 Episode Preview Reveals Semi Finals And More
Hey, “Dancing With The Stars” fans. We’re back to give you another new preview session. In this one, we’ve got information for what will be taking place in the next, new episode 9 of this current season 33, which is scheduled to hit the air tonight, November 19, 2024.
We were able to get a hold of a new, official press release for tonight’s new episode 9 straight from the ABC people. So, we’re going to certainly tell you what it has to say for this preview session. Let’s get into it.
In tonight’s new episode 9, you guys are going to see the semi-finals for this current season happen. The five remainnig couples will hit the stage to try and deliver performances that are good enough to propel them into the finals!
The couples will perform a ballroom dance style, and a Latin dance style. At some point, the pro dancers and troupe dancers will get together to deliver a special performance. Some of the pro dancers who are joining the DWTS LIVE 2025 Tour will also hit the stage to serve up a special performance.
After all the performances are wrapped up, America will, once again, get to vote for their favorite couples. The couple that gets the least amount of votes will sadly get eliminated.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s new episode 9 of Dancing With The Stars season 33 reads like this, “Semi-Finals. In the season’s penultimate episode, each of the five couples will take the stage to showcase two all-new performances as they fight for a spot in the finale.
Throughout the evening, each couple will perform one final ballroom dance style and one final Latin dance style as they battle it out for scores and votes. The pros and troupe will give a stunning performance to “Dance The Night” by Dua Lipa, choreographed by Sasha Farber and Ezra Sosa. Additionally, there will be a special performance to “greedy (Acoustic)” by Tate McRae, choreographed by Mandy Moore and featuring some of the professional dancers who will be joining the DWTS LIVE 2025 Tour.
Fans will be able to vote during the live simulcast of the show in the ET/CT time zones. During this time, online voting will be available to fans in any time zone in the U.S., its territories and Canada via dwtsvote.abc.com, and fans on participating U.S. wireless carriers can also vote via SMS/text (fans in Canada cannot vote via SMS/text). Live viewer votes from the night will be combined with the judges’ scores to determine who may be in jeopardy of elimination.”
ABC’s press release also revealed the dances that each couple will perform tonight. Danny Amendola and pro Witney Carson will perform a Viennese Waltz to “Gravity” by John Mayer and a Salsa to “I Like It” by Cardi B, Bad Bunny and J Balvin.
Joey Graziadei and pro Jenna Johnson will perform a Foxtrot to “I Won’t Dance” by Erin Boheme featuring District 78 and a Paso Doble to “Come Together” by Lennon & McCartney.
Chandler Kinney and pro Brandon Armstrong will perform a Foxtrot to “Too Sweet” by Hozier and a Salsa to Spicy Margarita by Jason Derulo and Michael Bublé.
Ilona Maher and pro Alan Bersten will perform a Viennese Waltz to “golden hour” by JVKE and a Paso Doble to “Unholy (Orchestral Version)” by Sam Smith and Kim Petras.
Stephen Nedoroscik and pro Rylee Arnold will perform a Tango to “Sweet Disposition” by The Temper Trap and a Cha Cha to “Bailar” by Deorro featuring Elvis Crespo.
Again, ABC’s press release confirmed that another new episode of Dancing With The Stars is indeed scheduled to hit your TV screens tonight, November 19, 2024 in the 7 pm central standard time slot.
