New Dateline NBC November 29 Episode Delayed, Preempted. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “Dateline NBC” fans. Unfortunately, we’re back with some really bad news for you guys in this article. It turns out that the NBC people are not airing a new episode of Dateline NBC tonight, November 29, 2024 due to some other TV obligations they need to fulfill. As far as we know, this appears to just be a delay for tonight.
We’re hearing from one of our sources that the NBC people do have plans to air another new episode of Dateline NBC next Friday night, December 6, 2024 in the 9:15 pm central standard time slot. However, NBC has yet to put out an official press release for that episode. So, we’ll have to wait and see if that actually happens or not. If it does, it appears that it will be a much shorter episode with just 45 minutes. Anyways, try and remember that very important date and time if you can.
In the meantime, we did take a look at what NBC is serving up instead of a new Dateline NBC episode tonight. According to the TV Guide listings, NBC has cleared out their entire Friday night, primetime line up to provide LIVE coverage for a college football game, featuring the Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. the Iowa Hawkeyes.
NBC’s official description for their LIVE coverage of this college football game reads like this, “College Football Nebraska at Iowa Live. The Cornhuskers line up against the Hawkeyes in the Heroes Game. Nebraska leads the all-time rivalry 30-21-3, but Iowa has won nine of the past 11 get-togethers. Iowa running back Kaleb Johnson is the nation’s second-leading rusher with 1,492 yards.”
If any of you guys also happen to be college football fans by any chance, you might still want to flip on NBC tonight to check out that game. If that is not the case, and you only want to see a new episode of Dateline NBC, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans and check back next Friday night.
Again, it’s been confirmed that Dateline NBC is not airing tonight, November 29, 2024, but it’s unofficially confirmed to come back with another new episode next Friday night, December 6, 2024 in the 9:15 pm central standard time slot.
