New Accused Season 3 Still In Question. FOX Hasn’t Renewed It Yet
Hey, “Accused” fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed the heck out of tonight’s episodes 7 and 8, especially since they were indeed the season finale episodes of Accused’s current season 2. That means you might not ever get to see another new episode for it ever again.
Yep, unfortunately, that is what we have to tell you tonight, because the people over at FOX have yet to greenlight a brand new season 3 of Accused. So, as it stands right now, it will either be a super long time before a new episode of Accused pops up, or another new episode might not ever pop up. We’ll just have to wait and see.
Here’s what we can do. We’re going to take a look at the LIVE viewership and ratings numbers that season 2 put up for FOX to try and extract an educated guess as to what FOX might do.
So, according to the LIVE Nielsen ratings, Accused’s current season 2 averaged 1.399 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.13 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent rated episode 5, which aired on Tuesday night, November 19, 2024, managed to draw in 1.274 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.12 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 1.751 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 4 with 1.194 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was the premiere episode 1 with a 0.16 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 4 with a 0.11 ratings score.
Honestly, those numbers do seem quite low for a major network like FOX. We’ve seen them easily cancel shows with much higher numbers in the past. So, I would be surprised if they did renew it, but who knows? Accused might be pretty cheap to produce. If it is, FOX might give it a new season 3 renewal. However, we can certainly see why they haven’t jumped at the chance to renew it just yet. Cross your fingers really hard for this one, guys.
