New 48 Hours December 7 Episode Delayed, Preempted. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. Unfortunately, we’re back on here with bad news for you guys tonight. Yep, it turns out that the CBS people have some other TV obligations to fulfill. So, they are not going to deliver a new episode of 48 Hours tonight, December 7, 2024. They’re going to make you wait an additional week to see another new episode of 48 Hours.
According to the TV guide listings, CBS is scheduled to air another new episode of 48 Hours next Saturday night, December 14, 2024 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to remember that very important date and time if you can.
We did find out why CBS isn’t airing a new episode of 48 Hours tonight. According to the TV Guide listings, CBS has cleared out their entire Saturday night time slots to provide LIVE coverage of a college football game, featuring the Penn State Nittany Lions vs. the Oregon Ducks.
CBS’ official description for their LIVE coverage of this college football game reads like this, “College Football. Big Ten Championship: Penn State vs. Oregon Live. The No. 1 Ducks (12-0, 9-0) try to complete a spotless Big Ten debut as they play the No. 3 Nittany Lions (11-1, 8-1) for the title. The only meeting in the last 60 years occurred at the 1995 Rose Bowl, where Penn State knocked off Oregon 38-20.”
If any of you guys also happen to be college football fans, you might still want to tune into CBS tonight to catch their LIVE coverage of this game. If college football isn’t your cup of tea, you will certainly want to skip watching CBS tonight and make some alternate plans. Then, check back next Saturday night.
Again, it’s been confirmed that 48 Hours is not airing tonight, December 7, 2024, but it’s scheduled to hit the air with another new episode next Saturday night, December 14, 2024 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot.
