New Matlock December 19 & 26 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Matlock” fans. We’re back in your faces with some bad news unfortunately. Yep, it turns out that the last episode 8, which aired last Thursday night, December 12, 2024, was the Fall finale episode for this current, premiere season 1.
That means the CBS people aren’t airing the next, new episode 9 tonight, December 19, 2024 and for many more Thursday nights to come.
According to one of our sources, CBS doesn’t currently plan to air the new episode 9 until Thursday night, January 30, 2025. During that time, it will show up in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be on the lookout for the new episode 9 to finally air on that very important date and time.
We did take a look at what the CBS people are going to dish up in place of Matlock tonight and next Thursday night. According to the TV Guide listings, CBS is going to air a new Christmas special tonight titled, “Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas.”
CBS’ official description for this new Christmas special reads like this, “Nate Bargatze presents a mix of stand-up comedy, comedy shorts, sketches and musical performances, spotlighting the spirit of Nashville, Tenn., during the holiday season and highlighting family fun and feel-good moments.”
Next Thursday night, December 26, 2024, CBS is going to air repeat episodes of one of their other shows called,”Ghosts.” It will be the 8th and 9th episodes of its current season 4 titled,”A Very Arondekar Christmas Part 1, and A Very Arondekar Christmas Part 2.’
CBS’ official description for these repeat episodes 8 and 9 of Ghosts’ current season 4 reads like this, “A leaky water heater mishap threatens to ruin holiday plans as Sam and Jay prepare to host Jay’s hard-to-please dad, difficult-to-impress mom and sister Bela.”
After the December 26, 2024 date, you guys will need to check your local listings to see what the CBS people will dish up in Matlock’s empty time slot on Thurday nights until that January 30, 2025 date rolls around.
