New 20/20 December 19 Special New Episode To Air. Preview Revealed
Hey, “20/20” fans. We’re back in your faces to let you know that the ABC people are dishing up a new, special edition of 20/20 tonight, December 19, 2024, and we’ve got some new preview intel for it to run by you guys.
The ABC people put out an official press release for this new, special episode. So, we will certainly reference it for this preview session. Let’s get into it.
For starters, we’ve got an official title for this new special episode. It’s called, “Manhunt: Luigi Mangione And The CEO Murder – A Special Edition Of 20/20.”
In tonight’s new special episode, the 20/20 team is going to take a deep look at a story about a man named Luigi Mangione. He is the suspected murderer of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. This episode will reveal details of the investigation of the murder.
It will show some exclusive audio of Luigi talking about his travels through Asia. They will examine what may have driven Luigi to commit the alleged murder. They will show what police are calling a handwritten confession, which criticizes the healthcare system and more.
This episode will feature interviews with a friend of the suspect; Brad Garrett, a former FBI profiler and ABC News contributor; Aaron Katersky, ABC News senior investigative correspondent; Brian Buckmire, ABC News legal contributor and defense attorney; Josh Margolin, ABC News chief investigative reporter; and Josh Einiger, WABC Eyewitness News reporter.

Again, ABC’s press release confirmed that a new, special episode of 20/20 is indeed scheduled to hit the air tonight, December 19, 2024 in the 9 pm central standard time slot. It will be a 1-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
