New Chicago Fire January 8 Episode 9 Spoilers Reveal A Haunted Past And More
Hey, “Chicago Fire” fans. We’ve got excellent news for you guys in this article. After numerous weeks of delays, the NBC people are going to finally serve up the next, new episode 9 of Chicago Fire’s current season 13 tonight, January 8, 2025, and we’ve got some new spoiler information for it.
We were able to round up a total of three, new, official teaser scoops for this new episode 9 via NBC’s official episode 9 press release synopsis. So, we’re going to pull it up right now. Let’s get into it.
First thing’s first. NBC let us know that there is an official title for this new episode 9. The writers decided to call it, “A Favor.” It sounds like episode 9 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic and possible emotional scenes as Cruz gets haunted. An arson class takes place. A search mission happens and more.
The first spoiler teaser lets us know that Cruz will face some very intense stuff in this episode as he will get totally haunted by something or someone from his past.
NBC’s official description for Cruz getting haunted by his past plotline tells us, “Cruz’s past comes back to haunt him.”
The second spoiler scoop reveals that Kelly Severide will be in action at some point. In his latest scenario, he will be seen, getting all prepped and ready to teach a class about arson over at the academy.

The 3rd and final teaser spoiler for this new episode 9 lets us know that we’ll see Mouch get some new screentime at some point. During his latest scene, he will be in the midst of searching for a victim’s next of kin.

Again, NBC’s press release confirmed that another new episode of Chicago Fire is indeed scheduled to make its way to the air tonight, January 8, 2025 in the 8 pm central standard time slot.
