Mayor Of Kingstown New Season 5 Still In Question. Paramount Plus Hasn’t Renewed It Yet
According to the folks over at Movieweb , and a couple of other sources, Paramount Plus has not officially announced that they are renewing their hit drama series for a brand new season 5 as of yet.
However, they are telling us that Michael McLusky star Jeremy Renner did ,in a round about way, imply that there will be a new season 5 by confirming that he has signed on to do two more seasons. They said that with that particular statement, it would bring the series to a new season 5.
This is the Jeremy Renner statement that they’re talking about: “I just did … the second season, we just finished since the incident. And I think I’m signing on to finish it off in two more. We found a cool end. I’m not going to tell you, but we found a really cool end, I think, to the show.”
So, while there isn’t currently an official season 5 renewal announcement from Paramount Plus yet, it’s highly believed that it’s just a matter of time before that actually does happen.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t track down any official viewership or ratings numbers for how season 4 performed for Paramount Plus, but it has received high praise from viewers and critics on Rotten Tomatoes and so on and so forth.
According to a recent report from Screenrant.com , the critics over at Rotten Tomatoes actually gave season 4 a perfect 100 percent score. So, that is definitely a possible good sign that an official renewal is on the way from Paramount Plus.
Again, Paramount Plus currently has not officially announced a new season 5 for Mayor Of Kingstown. So, we will have to reveal that information at a later date.
