Survivor Aubry Bracco Won Season 50 In Finale Episode (Recap)

Earlier tonight, CBS aired another finale episode of Survivor’s current season 50, and we finally found out who won this thing by the end of it.

Tonight’s new episode kicked off with talk about the last tribal council meeting that sent Cirie packing for jury. Rizo told the private cams, “Words can’t describe what we pulled off today. We were able to get out Cirie. I out-Ciried Cirie. Tiffany got played. So, she’s really upset. I feel like 2 million bucks right now. I gotta make sure Tiffany doesn’t make it to the end.”

Aubry tried to talk to Tiffany, but she wasn’t having it. She was pissed off. Tiffany told the private cams, “Aubry is fake. I don’t want her fake sympathy.”

Aubry told the private cams, “It is not my job to make this game alright for Tiffany. I have to keep focusing on my game.”

Jonathan told the private cams, “My game plan is to sit next to Joe and Rizo in the final three. Our plan is to vote out either Aubry or Tiffany.”

Jeff showed up with another immunity challenge. During this one, they had to get through obstacles. Retrieve a machete. Retrieve sand bags. Use the sand bags to knock over 3 cans to get some keys. Build a latter to climb up on a platform and complete a puzzle for the win. Jonathan just edged out Tiffany to win it.

Tiffany told the private cams, “I’m pissed and angry. They’re clear an free to take a shot at me in the tribal council meeting.”

Rizo told the private cams, “I’m playing my idol, and the plan is to vote off Tiffany.” Rizo told Tiffany, “I can’t sit next to you in the finals.”

Tiffany told the private cams that she can possibly convince people that Aubry is a bigger threat. So, she campaigned to get Aubry out.

Joe told the private cams, “To me, it’s a crap shoot between Tiffany and Aubry.” Tiffany promised Jonathan that she will take him to final 2 if she stayed and one the final immunity challenge. Jonathan told the private cams, “Tiffany’s offer is huge. Aubry and Tiffany is a toss-up. It’s difficult to decide who to vote for. The weight of this vote is heavy.”

At the tribal council meeting, they just did some general game talk before casting their votes. Before the votes were read, Rizo played his idol. So, any votes against him did not count.

Aubry got 1 vote, and Tiffany received 3 votes. So, with the 3 votes, Tiffany did get voted out. She told Jeff, ” It’s been an honor. Goodnight, Jeff” on the way out.

Tiffany told the private cams, “I’m extremely proud of the game I played. Being seen as a big threat lets me know that I’m a Survivor giant too.”

Jonathan told the private cams, “We really wanna get Aubry out because we don’t know if we have a shot against her in the finals.”

Aubry told the private cams, “If I don’t win this final immunity challenge, I’m out the door.” Jeff showed up with the final immunity challenge of this season. It was the “Simmotion” challenge, which featured the metal ball maze. They had to keep adding balls to it and catching them without letting them drop. The last person standing, won. It came down to Joe and Aubry, and Aubry edged out Joe for the win and a guaranteed spot in the final three.

Aubry told the private cams, “I actually practiced that Simmotion challenge at home. I don’t want to be sitting next to Rizo in the finals.” She told Joe that she’s taking him into the final three.

Aubry told Rizo and Jonathan that they’re definitely going to the fire-making challenge. Rizo started crying to the private cams for being in this spot again. Meanwhile, Jonathan kept practicing fire-making, and he looked real good at it.

Joe couldn’t help but try to give Rizo some fire-making tips after seeing him struggle. Joe told the private cams, “I at least wanted to give Rizo a fighting chance.”

Rizo started getting real good at it after that. He started mastering the first strike technique. Jonathan told the private cams, “I’m kind of worried now.”

At the tribal council meeting, Aubry did send Rizo and Jonathan to the fire-making challenge while taking Joe to the final three. Jonathan easily won the fire-making challenge. For some reason, Rizo could never keep the flame going like he did in practice.

Rizo said, “I played two great games and fell short, but I genuinely have no regrets. I know I played the best game that I could.” He gave everyone a hug on the way out. Rizo told the private cams, “I lost in fire for the second straight season in a row.”

After all of that, Jonathan’s brother, Joe’s wife and Aubry’s mother were brought out to bring them lunch. They were ecstatic to see their loved ones.

Next, we finally got the final tribal council meeting. During it, Joe, Jonathan and Aubry answered questions from the jury.

Joe told them, “I had to change up a bit by lying and being dishonest with some people to get to the end. That was a compromise I had to make. In terms of adapting, I had to adjust to this level of players and lie sometimes.

I lied to Tiffany’s face. I had to lie to Ozzy’s face.” The worst critique of my game is I wish I would’ve handled the interactions with Rick Devens better. I tried my best to adapt, and I made it to the final 3 in two seasons.”

Jonathan told them, “I used things that I knew about each player to my advantage. A secret I had was I tried to get Ozzy out for a long time. I used real life connections to blindside people. I drove the Ozzy, Dee and Kamilla elimination vote. I played a dangerous game. I worked on my puzzles, speaking, balance to get to the end.

Aubry told them, “I couldn’t let the fear of hurting people stop me from playing to win. I put the coffin in Ozzy’s game by revealing how Ozzy laid out all of his game to me. I selectively shared information that would help me build trust and better position myself.

I knew I had to separate myself and adapt to new groups. A critique of my game is I don’t think I ever really made Stephanie feel comfortable. I played a big part in getting Christian out. I changed how I am, and how I played in previous seasons to get to the end.”

Afterwards, the jury casts their votes for the winner. Jeff revealed the votes in front of a LIVE studio audience back in Los Angeles, California.

Jonathan got 3 votes, Joe got 0 votes and Aubry received 6 votes. With the 6 votes, Aubry won it to claim the $2 million dollar grand prize!

Aubry said, “I learned so many different lessons from many different players.” Jonathan said, “I’m proud of the game that I played. I did the best I could.” They also awarded Aubry a new Toyota car. Cirie won the Cia prize of $100,000 dollars.
