Jake and Dave won the last challenge. So, they got an advantage of picking the teams. After they picked, the teams, the teams turned out to be: Tkaiya and Basia , Peter & Foo , Dave & Heidi, and Julia & Jake. They were given 60 minutes to complete this challenge.

During the challenge, Basia told the private cams that she ran into issues with the sauce. Dave got advice from Gordon for the pork tenderloin dish. Peter was seen, running into some issues too. After the time was up, the teams presented their dishes to the judges.

Dave and Heidi went first with their Proscuitto-wrapped pork tenderloin dish. Gordon said, “Really good job. It’s seasoned beautifully. The pork was cooked to perfection.” Tiffany said, “The flavors are great.” Joe said, “It’s really incredible.”

Julia and Jake presented a pan-seared sea scallops dish. Gordon said, “They don’t look quite the same.” Joe said, “They taste better than they look.” Gordon said, “It’s cooked nicely. Jake’s scallops are not cooked enough.” Tiffany said, “The dishes did taste better than they look.”

Basia and Tkaiya presented a blackened pan-seared salmon dish. Gordon said, “The salmon looks hammered. They’re too different. You weren’t on the same page. Tkaiya’s Salmon is overcooked. Basia’s salmon is cooked right.” Tiffany said, “These dishes lacked correct technique.” Joe said, “It’s burnt food. I can’t taste the seasoning. So, I can’t judge it. Sorry.”

Peter and Foo presented a miso-glazed salmon dish. Gordon said, “The mushrooms are raw. Foo forgot the sauce. Foo’s puree is underseasoned. Peter’s salmon is cooked nicely.” Tiffany said, “Foo’s dishes were out of balance. Peter’s dishes were better.” Joe said, “Foo, you’re raw mushrooms are an insult to us. Did you really think we would buy that these were cooked for 10 minutes?”
