Lanterns September 13 New Episode 5 Spoilers Reveal John Stewart Wreaks Major Havoc And More
According to HBO, they’re all set and ready to air the next, new episode 5 of Lanterns’ current, premiere season 1 next Sunday night, September 13, 2026, and it will feature John Stewart getting heavily pissed off, wreaking all kinds of major havoc and more!
HBO has yet to release an official synopsis or title for this episode, but they did drop a new preview clip for it. So, that is what we’re using as spoiler source for this article. Let’s get into it.
This episode will feature news scenes from Hal Jordan, John Stewart and more. The new preview clip starts off with a dialogue scene with the speaker saying, “Residents of Rushville, this is not a drill. I repeat. This is not a drill.” Then, people are seen, getting held up at gun point. It looks pretty intense.
Next, we get a new Hal Jordan and John Stewart scene that looks even more intense. In it, Hal is seen, locking John Stewart in the car or something. Then, Hall tells him, “Sorry about that, Junior, but I’m sure you understand my position.”
John Stewart says, “I’m mad as all hell, and I plan on doing something about it.” Then, there’s scenes of John breaking free and wreaking all kinds of major havoc. At one point, Hal is seen, lying bloody on the ground saying, “Was it worth it?”

Again, HBO has confirmed that they are officially scheduled to air this new episode 5 of Lanterns’ current, premiere season 1 next Sunday night, September 13, 2026 in the 8 pm central standard time slot.
