Saturday Night LIVE September 26 Season 52 Premiere Episode To Feature Jalen Brunson & KATSEYE
According to NBC, they are officially scheduled to air the new, very first, premiere episode 1 of Saturday Night LIVE’s new season 52 tonight, September 26, 2026, and it will feature celebrity appearances from Jalen Brunson and KATSEYE.
According to NBC’s official press release information for this episode, 30 year old NBA pro basketball player Jalen Brunson will show up to the set to handle the hosting duties. It will be his first time to host the show. NBC also noted that Jalen was recently named the Most Valuable Player of the 2026 NBA Finals when he and his New York Knicks team won the NBA championship.
For the musical portion of this episode, we’re being told that Los Angeles-based girl group KATSEYE will hit up the set to deliver some musical performances for you guys.
The group consists of: Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Manon Bannerman, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae Jeung. This will be their very first time to perform on the show. NBC noted that they are a Grammy Award nominated group, and they’re currently doing a sold out concert tour called, “WILDWORLD.” They just released their third EP titled, “Wild.” So, we imagine they’ll probably perform it on the show tonight. We’ll see.
Again, NBC’s press release confirmed that they are officially scheduled to air this very first, premiere episode 1 of Saturday Night LIVE’s new season 52 tonight, September 26, 2026 in the 10:29 pm central standard time slot. It will be a 90-minute event. So, expect it to wrap up at 12 am central time.
