Amazing Race September 30 Season 39 Premiere Episodes To Feature A 13 Express Passes Twist & More
According to CBS, they are officially scheduled to air the very first, premiere episodes 1 and 2 of The Amazing Race’s new season 39 tonight, September 30, 2026 and tomorrow night, October 1. They will feature a new twist involving 13 expresses passes and more!
According to CBS’ official episode 1 press release information, the producers titled it, “Sorry Guys, We Used Our Express Pass.” The preview intel from CBS’ episode description is telling us that this season will kick off in the Vancouver, Canada area, and at some point, the host Phil Keoghan is going to tell the new contestants that a major twist is getting thrown into the mix.
It’s something that they’ve never ever done in the history of the show. Apparently, 13 Express Passes will be up for grabs! Which teams will get their hands on these Express passes? That is the big question for this new twist.
Tomorrow night’s new episode 2 is officially titled, “Are Tomatoes Good for Skin Care?” The preview info from CBS is telling us that the remaining teams will get told to pack up their things and head for Madrid Spain to kick off this leg of the race.
At some point, some new alliances will get formed. One of the teams will try to pull off an Express Pass strategy that causes them nothing but instant regret! So, that doesn’t sound too good at all. That’s something to keep a lookout for when this episode hits the air tomorrow night.
CBS also noted that this a two-part premiere episode event. So, we might not see an elimination on the first night. The first elimination might get reserved for tomorrow night’s new episode 2. We’ll have to wait and see.
Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that the very first, premiere episodes 1 and 2 of The Amazing Race’s new season 39 are scheduled to make their debut tonight, September 30, 2026 and tomorrow night, October 30th.
