Survivor October 28 Voted Off Ori Jean-Charles (Recap)

Earlier tonight, October 28, 2026, CBS aired another new episode for Survivor’s current season 51, and another unlucky contestant did get sent packing at the end of it.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with talk about the last tribal council meeting that sent Alexis and Linnea packing. Lewis told the private cams, “They came for me full shots fired. They cowered and backed out. I survived by the skin of my teeth. I can’t believe I’m here. I should be home right now.”
Eric told the private cams,”I totally understand Lewis’ perspective in wanting to save himself, but I can’t understand Kilby’s. We were protecting him.”
Kilby told Eric, “I care a lot about my friends, and I was protecting Lewis.” Eric told Kilby,”I feel very hurt. You chose Lewis over me.” Eric told the private cams,”After this, Kilby is the most dangerous player in this game to me.” Kilby told the private cams, “I still think I can bring Eric to my side after he gets over being upset.”
Ori told the private cams, “We had to get rid of Alexis. Me, Jelly and Devin are a really good team.” Mike told the private cams, “I’m feeling like I’m on the outs.” Brady told the private cams, “I’m starting to see that Mike is a selfish player. That’s why he doesn’t really have any allies.”
At the Toka tribe, Mike told the private cams, “I’m so done with the way Brady is doing things. He’s always watching over me like a hawk and bossing me around. I’m so ready to flip. I want to team up with Kristin.” So, Mike did make a pitch to Kristin about working with her in some way. Kristin told the private cams, “I have no interest in aligning with Mike. He’s on the bottom, but I don’t want to burn a bridge with him.”
Lewis told the private cams,”Kilby and I are in the minority right now.” Eric told the private cams, “We’re targeting Lewis or Kilby with the 3-2 numbers we have.” However, Cristian told the private cams,”I need to build a relationship with Lewis and Kilby moving forward. I’m playing an individual game.” So, he went and chatted up Lewis and Kilby. It seemed to go well.
Next, the tribes got a note that told them they need to pick one person to represent their tribe at a Summit event. Sharonda was picked for Dina . Ori went for Savu. Kristin went for Toka.
At the Summit event, Kristin, Ori and Sharonda were told that two of them were getting a meal to bring back to their tribe, and one them was going to Exile Island. However, the person who went to exile island, got a tethered immunity idol. The holder of it can only play it on the other two people that are with them at this Summit event.
However, if those two get voted off, the idol becomes a regular idol that’s good until the final five. Kristin volunteered to go to Exile Island. So, she went to Exile Island and got the idol. Meanwhile, Sharonda and Ori got the meal to take back to their tribes.
Back at Savu, Ori told Jelly and Devin about Kristin’s idol that she got at Exile island. Brady complained more about how Maggie bugs him to the point that Mike could stay over her.
After all of that, host Jeff Probst showed up with a new immunity challenge. During this one, they had to get through some obstacles. Get sand bags. Use sand bags to knock over puzzle pieces. Then, complete a puzzle for the win. Toka finished it in first place. Dina finished it in second place. So, Savu had to figure out who to send home at the tribal council meeting.
Savu only had 3 members, and they said they were devastated to have to turn on each other. Jelly told them that she has an immunity idol and plans on using it. She also said she’s been aligned with Devin since day one. So, she’s picking him over Ori. Ori told the private cams,”I need to find an idol.”
Ori tried to pitch both Jelly and Devin ,separately, about voting each other out so he could stay. Jelly told him she’s definitely keeping Devin. Meanwhile, Devin implied to the private cams that he may be considering turning on Jelly.
At the Savu tribal council meeting, Jelly and Devin said they have absolutely no doubts in trusting each other before casting their votes. So, things were looking very bleak for Ori. Before Jeff read the votes, Ori played his shot in the dark card, and it was a “Not Safe” card. So, all votes against Ori still counted.
Then, Jeff revealed that Ori did indeed get the 2 votes. With those two votes, he was voted off. Ori said, “It’s a chopper” for their chopper alliance on the way out.
Ori told the private cams, “I played my shot in the dark. It came back not safe, and that was all she wrote. This was an experience I would never trade for anything.”
