Spartacus Season 4 Unfortunately Not In The Works,It’s Over Forever
Spartacus season 4 unfortunately not in the works,It’s Over Forever. Yep, guys it’s really,truly over for good. Actually, we’ve known for quite sometime now as the news broke out back in June 2012 or around that time. The reason that the show got canceled was pretty much due to the fact that the creator ,Steven S. DeKnight, just wanted to finally end this thing on a good note after all the heartaches and troubles that the show incurred with the death of Andy Whitfield and so on,and so forth.
It turns out that on any other network, the show probably would’ve been scrapped ages ago,but Starz wanted to give them a chance to keep going. Steven told IGN, “Starz always does the unexpected. This show has been challenged, to say the least, in many, many ways. We’ve faced many difficulties and tragedies on the show. My original plan was to attack the show in a five- to seven-season arc. Once we got into it and after Andy Whitfield’s passing and looking at the historical story of Spartacus, we came to the decision to basically end on a high note.”
After that,Steven explained how the show was basically barely even able to make it to season 3,stating, “You know, the whole show was a huge risk from the start for Starz, and it was another huge risk when I decided to try to keep the show going after Andy’s passing. Any normal studio would have just cancelled the show at that point and not risk the financial downside of it not working.
But Starz, thankfully, really stuck by the show, and they really wanted it to be told all the way to the end. They didn’t want to cheat the viewers and just suddenly pull the plug. So they gave us this opportunity to wrap up the story.” So, there it is. A very rare explanation as to why one of your favorite shows has ended for good. I just think that Spartacus is absolutely brilliant.

Marcus Crassus or Caesar should have fallen and as in gladiator.The bad guy cannot win.
This was an amazing show from start to finish. Everything was incredible surprised me in every way possible and kept me guess. Wish there was more seasons but the way it ended was great.
This is so disappointing this was my all time favorite show I don’t understand how it didn’t do well there will never be another show that compares. Very disappointed viewer
Spartacus was my all time favorite TV show nothing compared to it I looked forward to see what was going to happen next it was a thrill ride kept you guessing what Spartacus was going to do next hate to see it had to end so soon
This show had a heart-wrenching story line. I would’ve loved to have seen a season 5 and all that Spartacus had fought for, prosper.
