According to a new report from Comicbookmovie.com, Star Trek, Spock star, Zachary Quinto recently chatted it up with Buzzhub, and revealed that he thinks Star Trek 3 is scheduled to star up filming in 2014. In addition to that, he claims that it will film a lot faster than part 2 did, and director J.J. Abrams will somehow return despite his huge commitment to direct the big Star Wars: Episode VII flick.
In their statement,they said: “Star Trek 3 should be filming, I suppose, next year. It’s going to be made a lot quicker than the last one. That’s the plan, although nothing is confirmed yet.” Later on in the interview, Quinto said he would not like to reunite with J.J Abrams for Star Wars: Episode VII without reason.
Surprisingly, he also adds that Abrams is planning to direct Star Trek 3, despite the fact that it would directly conflict with his Star Wars schedule.” According to IMDB, Star Trek 3 has a release date set for 2016.
