New Wolf Of Wall Street Movie Delivered Great Laughs,Drama & More
New Wolf Of Wall Street movie delivered great laughs, drama & more. Paramount Pictures released their new drama flick, “The Wolf Of Wall Street” into theaters this past Wednesday,December 25th. I just checked it out and thought it was very entertaining, comical, full of great drama, and more. I was never bored for the entire 3 hours. It stars: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie, Matthew McConaughey, Jon Favreau, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner, Jean Dujardin, Pj Byrne, and Kenneth Choi.
In the new flick, character, Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio), becomes a stockbroker in Wall Street, and is impressed with the lavish lifestyle of his current boss, Mark Hanna (Matthew McConaughey), who often indulges in multiple martini lunches and recommends a lifestyle of drugs and prostitutes as the path to success. Belfort eventually gets his stockbrokers license and begins his new position on Black Monday.
Unfortunately, Jordan loses his job on the exact same day due to his brokerage getting put out of business by the craziness of Black Monday. From there , Jordan ends up working at a very small brokerage firm called, “Investor Center” after responding to one of their small ads. They dealt in pushing penny stocks to unsuspecting middle class families. And since he earned a full 50 percent commission on each transaction, he quickly became very rich.
However, that wasn’t enough. Jordan had to start up his own firm after getting a new friend, named Donnie Azoff (Jonah Hill) to quit his job and work for him. Soon after that, the Stratton Oakmont firm was built. Jordan brought in all his degenerate high school peeps to join his team in overselling penny stocks to amass a huge fortune and grow the company to a full on corporate level.
But Stratton Oakmont was no ordinary corporation to say the least as they threw wild parties all the time. Had sex with prostitutes and co-workers right in the office, lol!! Jordan also became addicted to cocaine and Quaaludes. in the meantime, in another area of town, the FBI was heavily investigating Jordan’s activities as he began laundering money to cover his expenses, and hired a sleazy lawyer, named Manny Riskin (Jon Favreau), to cover his tracks.
Eventually, the money laundering got so advanced that he started getting people to hide his money in Switzerland offshore accounts under their names, so it couldn’t get tracked back to him. Eventually, the Swiss banker that Jordan used, Jean-Jacques Saurel (Jean Dujardin), slipped up and got arrested on American soil. Then he quickly ratted out Patrick, causing everything to crumble for him. From that point, Patrick had to strike up a deal with the FBI to rat everyone else out, so he wouldn’t have to spend the next 20 years in prison.
Again, it was a very entertaining movie to watch, delivering nonstop laughs and major drama for the entire 3 hour runtime. I never got bored, once, so this movie was excellent for me. If a movie can keep me entertained for a full 3 hours, it gets my utmost praises, for sure.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill did a great job in this. Jonah was funny as hell. With Leonardo, it was almost reminiscent of the “Catch Me If You Can” flick that he starred in back in 2002, because it had that same air illegal activities to it, and he was making a crapload of money while avoiding getting caught for a long time. Anyways, I gave it an excellent A+ grade. Stay tuned. Also, get your favorite Movie stuff, and more by Clicking Here.
