New X Men,Days Of Future Past Movie Delivered Great Action,Drama,Plot & More
20th Century FOX released their new super hero/action flick, “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was excellent ,serving up a ton of great action, intriguing plotline, suspense, special effects, and more. It stars: Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Halle Berry, Ellen Page, and Shawn Ashmore.
The new flick starts off in a dystopian future, where tons of mutants are being wiped out of existence by high-powered Sentinels that are able to adapt to each mutants’ abilities, making them virtually indestructible. From there, it’s revealed that these Sentinels were created as a direct result of Mystique hunting down the Sentinels creator, Bolivar Trask, back in 1973 and killing him.
She thought it would stop the creation of the Sentinels, but instead, it drove the government to capture Mystique, and use her blood to find out how to create the ultimate Sentinels that could mimic her abilities to adapt to all mutants and destroy them. Xavier and Eric aka Magneto of the future, present a plan to Logan aka Wolverine to have Kitty Pryde send his consciousness back to his 1973 body in hopes of stopping Mystique from doing the murderous deed with the help of the Xavier and Eric of the past.
Once there, Wolverine was able to eventually find Xavier, but would have to help Xavier find himself as he was a broken man at that point. Heck, he didn’t even have his powers as he kept using a special serum that helped him walk , but messed with his DNA. After freeing Eric from a non-metal prison, it didn’t take long for all hell to break lose as his stubborn ways of using murder as the answer, quickly kicked in.
This led to a situation where Logan and company had to race against time to track down and stop both Mystique and Eric from ruining the whole plan. However in the end, Mystique was the only one who make right what once went very wrong. Again,I really enjoyed watching this flick. It kept me highly intrigued for the entire 2 hours and 10 minute runtime. They got all the X-Men involved in some capacity whether it was in the past or in the future.
They also showed a special scene after the full closing credits finished rolling, which was a sneak peek for the upcoming sequel to this flick, titled, “X-Men: Apocalypse.” So, you’ll definitely want to stick around for that if you see it in theaters. I gave the movie a definite A + grade. Stay tuned. Also, get your favorite Movie stuff, and more by Clicking Here.
