New 22 Jump Street Movie Delivered Great Laughs,Action & More
Columbia Pictures (Sony) released their new comedy/action flick, “22 Jump Street” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was very good, serving up a ton of laughs,action, super crazy twists, and more. It stars: Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Ice Cube, Amber Stevens, and Craig Roberts.
In the new flick, characters, Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) get sent out on another assignment. But instead of high school, they infiltrate a college to get the intel on a supplier of a drug, called, “Wi-Fi” that’s supposed to make its users really sharp and focused for 4, straight hours. However, the death of one of the female students who was taking and supposedly dealing the drug, sparked up this big investigation.
While undercover, Jenko immediately hits it off with a bunch football jocks while Schmidt was kind of the odd man out, and that was pretty much a continuous theme as they kept investigating. Eventually, they brought in a perp they were tracking, and go their separate ways after some college drama splits them apart.
However, a new revelation in the case, brings Schmidt and Jenko back together to help bring down the real drug supplier, which turned out to present a very interesting and comical twist. It delivered an epic conclusion that featured Jenko and Schmidt hanging from a flying helicopter, a major explosion, and more.
Again, the movie served up a ton of good laughs, along with great action, so I enjoyed watching it for the entire run time. It never got boring at all. Ice Cube was super funny as Captain Dickson.
