New Equalizer Movie Delivered Great Action,Drama,Plotline & More
Columbia Pictures (Sony) released their new action flick, “The Equalizer” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out and thought it was way better than I originally thought it would be. It featured great action scenes, cool plotline, and lots of suspense. It stars: Denzel Washington, Marton Csokas, Chloë Grace Moretz, David Harbour, Bill Pullman, and Melissa Leo.
In the new flick, character Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) is a middle aged, retired intelligent officer who believes he’s put his Special Forces past behind him and dedicated himself to beginning a new, quiet life. However, he ends up meeting a hooker named Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), who is just a young girl that’s been under the control of a violent Russian gangster. And when she comes up nearly beaten to death, Robert just can’t stand idly by and do nothing.
So, from this point, we see Robert taking out the entire crew that was responsible for pimping Teri out. Unfortunately, they turn out to be more than just a group of pimps. They are actually connected to whole illegal network that’s run by Russian Gangster, Vladimir Pushkin.
In response to the murder of his men, Vladimir sends in one of his main men, Teddy, to find out what’s going on and to basically kill whoever killed his men. Teddy does some hardcore investigating and eventually finds out that Robert was the one who killed Vladimir’s men.
From there, the hunt is on to take out Teddy. But it definitely doesn’t turn out to be an easy job as Robert is just as much onto Teddy as he is to him. However, Robert always manages to stay a few steps ahead of Teddy and his minions with his incredible skill set.
After Robert gets more intel on who Teddy is and works for, he devices a very meticulous plan that has him single handedly destroying Vladimir’s whole operation and taking out Teddy in a very suspenseful and action-filled conclusion. It was a beauty to watch Robert work with his carefully executed plan.
Again, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie for the entire runtime. The plot kept me highly intrigued. I thought Denzel did a great job portraying the lead role of Robert. I gave the movie an excellent A grade. It’s a definite must-watch. Stay tuned. Also, get your favorite Movie stuff, and more by Clicking Here.
