New Avengers 2 Movie Delivered Lots Of Great Action,Special Effects & More
Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios released their new super hero/action flick, “Avengers 2: Age of Ultron,” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out and thought it was extremely entertaining, serving up hardcore action and special effects scenes, left and right.
It stars: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, James Spader, Cobie Smulders, Thomas Kretschmann, and Paul Bettany.
In the new flick, we saw the Avengers, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Thor, Bruce Banner, Natasha Romanoff, and Clint Barton raid a Hydra outpost led by Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, who had been experimenting on humans using the scepter previously wielded by Loki. At one point, they encounter two of Strucker’s experiments, twins Pietro aka Quicksilver, who has superhuman speed, and Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch, who can manipulate minds and throw energy blasts.
Tony eventually acquires Loki’s scepter after Scarlet Witch backs off to let him have it. Later , Tony and Banner find out that there’s artificial intelligence within the scepter’s gem, and secretly use it to complete Stark’s global defense program, Ultron. However, things go terribly wrong when Ultron believes he must eradicate humanity to save Earth. He eliminates Stark’s A.I. J.A.R.V.I.S. and attacks the Avengers during a victory party at their headquarters.
From there, Ultron uses the resources in Strucker’s Sokovia base to enhance his rudimentary body and build an army of robot drones. He also recruits Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver to help him carry out his deadly plans. The Avengers continue to try to fight off Ultron and the twins until Scarlet Witch finally reads Ultron’s wicked mind, discovering he wants to eliminate any human existence. From there, the twins turn against Ultron and eventually team up with the Avengers to get involved in major battle to stop Ultron from destroying all of human existence.
The conclusion provided a lot of intense battle action, coupled with major suspense, drama and more. Again, I thought the movie, for the most part, kept me totally engaged for the entire runtime. And they’re definitely coming with an Avengers 3 flick, so stay tuned for that. I gave the movie a solid B+ grade. Get your favorite Movie stuff, and more by Clicking Here.
