‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Is Bringing Back A Main Male Character Later Next Month

According to a recent report from the folks over at Soapcentral.com, the crew of CBS’ hit soap opera “The Bold And The Beautiful” has set a date to bring back one of their main male characters later next month!

As previously reported, we let you guys know that the character Thorne Forrester had been recast. Actor Winsor Harmon had been playing Thorne since 1996. But now, actor Ingo Rademacher will be portraying him when he returns this next time around. Now, we’ve finally got the return date for Thorne’s character. It turns out that Ingo will make his first on-screen appearance as Thorne on the Monday, November 27,2017 episode. So, be sure to mark that date down on your TV calendars for the return of Thorne.

Soapcentral went on to further explain that Rademacher will actually report to set on Tuesday, October 24,2017 to begin filming. Ingo recently talked to Soap Opera Digest about taking over the Thorne Forester role and revealed that he’s very excited to come on the show. He told them, “I’m stoked to come on the show.”

Ingo also commented on how a lot of the Bold And Beautiful fans were unhappy to see Thorne get recast. He revealed that he felt kind of bad about it and hopes the fans aren’t too upset about it.

He stated, “Harmon tweeted over this past weekend that his role was being recast and I read the comments and a lot of people weren’t happy. There was a lot of support for Winsor and rightly so. I said to my wife, ‘Wow, I feel kind of bad about this.’ I mean I know it’s the way things go in daytime, but this is a new experience for me. I’ve never stepped into a role that was previously played by someone else. I hope the fans aren’t too upset about this.”

Ingo Rademacher’s acting resume includes roles in ABC’s General Hospital as Jasper “Jax” Jacks, CBS’ Hawaii Five-0, an upcoming TV series called, “Counterpart.” “Alex Cross.” “According to Jim” TV series. “Titans” TV series.”Veronica’s Closet” TV series. “Clueless” TV series. “Echo Point” TV series and “Paradise Beach” TV series.

Currently, there aren’t any new details about what Thorne will be doing when he returns to the show in November, but it sounds like he will be around for a while. Ingo revealed that he’s locked into this on a fulltime contract. So,it sounds like they have big plans for Thorne when he returns.

The last time we saw Thorne in action was way back in October 2016. He returned to Los Angeles in September 2016 and tried to stop Eric and Quinn’s wedding from happening. He obviously was unsuccessful in that attempt.

Before that, he was involved in a major storyline that involved his crazy daughter Aly. They finally killed Aly off when they got her to attack Steffy in a fit of rage on the same roadside that Darla was killed on. Steffy had to kill Aly out of self defense.

Thorne was devastated when he found out about Aly’s death because he was planning to take her back to Paris with him to get some help for her issues and to work alongside him. After Aly’s funeral, Thorne returned to Paris.

So, Thorne has been in some pretty intense storylines for these last two arcs. That makes us think there might be something else big coming up. What do you guys think about Thorne’s future return to the storyline? Are you excited? Do you hate the idea? Or do you just not care one way or the other? Let us know in the comments.
